Jennifer I love your advice at the end of the video! This is a common occurrence for beginner gardeners; you like 10 different plants, and you buy 1 of each and throw them together, and everything ends up looking chaotic and incohesive and you're not happy. You've helped me learn that creating swaths or drifts of 1 type of plant has more of an impact than planting 10 different plants in the same space next to each other! WONDERFUL! KEEP these videos coming! :) #TrueGardener

Jennifer, what a treasure you are! You are such a great designer and teacher, you share your tremendous knowledge with us, and seeing your great plans, and then when you explain your reasoning for why you put plants where you did, and info about the plants needs, and their sizes when grown, and you do it in such a welcoming way, we really are truly blessed to have a channel like yours! It's also nice to see you use plants that you "inherit" on the job and make them work in your plan. I really feel like we are all getting a real "hands on" education with each of your videos. It's one thing to read about plants, etc. in a book, but seeing your designs for real, and learning all about them is priceless !! Thank you, and Look forward to your next class..............

Bismarck palms are my fav. One of the few palms in southern Texas that are very hardy.

Can you do just a video on palms? Explain which ones you use for what kind of areas. How tall they grow. And how to keep them healthy. Thanks

Love your style and content ❣️ I love the ruby red plants but have had no luck finding them. Where can I get the ruby red plants and the Tahitian gray granite rocks from?

I found some Ruby reds at my local nursery but they called them “Joseph’s Coat”.

I’m in Jacksonville and planted a Bismarck Palm last year, it seems like a slow grower for me. I’ve wondered if it was even growing but just when I think it’s not going to survive, a new frond will begin to grow. Just seems to grow very slow for me compared to my Queen Palms, Chinese Fan Palms and Washingtonian Palm trees. If this normal? Or should I consider adding extra palm tree fertilizer around this tree?

Can you explain the strip of rock right next to the pool enclosure? Is this purely for screen replacement access?

When traveling south Florida I’ve seen many Bismarck Palms and some are silvery and others are more lighter, almost whiteish~silver and others are more greenish. Are their different varieties of Bismarcks? Or does the soil type, nutrients and / or amount of watering that can make the leaves of one Bismarck Palm have different color tones?
