You’ve done an amazing job and I’m so pleased you’re able to truly enjoy your hard work. Your garden is absolutely stunning! Your vlog is so informative and reminds the rest of us gardeners that not everything grows exactly where it’s planted - sometimes it takes a little trial and error to figure things out. Thank you for creating the most sustainable model for being a YT 'content creator' I've encountered. Utterly brilliant the way your art intersects with the garden and helps to fund the endeavour. You're videos, from editing to animation to music selections (including your own), are an inspiration {I've been daydreaming for the past few years of starting my own vintage sewing channel; yours and Bernadette Banners' remain my source for how it can be done}. The cement mold that you found is amazing - well done. And I consider the presence of vultures to be a good sign of an ecology that's close to balance - we have them swooping through our downtown neighbourhood daily. That wingspan is truly something to behold whilst in flight. Nice that your old shed provided a home to them as a last act... For the past 25 years or so I've kept a vegetable and herb garden on our treehouse-apartment balcony. This past year I've upped the flower content to feed the local wild bee and bumble population. I'll be building a bee hotel in the spring. Next year I'm looking at adding a small water feature to provide space for the dragonflies that occasionally drop by (apparently the populations in the UK are experiencing stress, so it's only a matter of time until North America feels the same pressure). Thanks for the inspiration. - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi

I figure, if one is going to teach sewing in a PBS style videos, a body needs a custom fit wardrobe... Thank you again. All the very best for the coming week.

They bloom for months and the 48" tall variety in my garden are over 5' tall. GREAT FUN!!

Thank you for showing how long it took for the garden to really establish the way you wanted it to be. I started in 2020, too, and was so sad that the garden grew much slower than I imagined. This year was the first time, that I get a feeling it will turn out great in the end. We had tons of slugs because of year-round rain, and many seedlings were eaten. The perennials and trees I planted over the past 4 years finally gave enough shape that it didn't matter that much that the annuals were basically missing. The garden grows at its own pace and we can only do so much to accelerate it. Thank you for the many DIY tips. I used your idea of the crushed concrete path and it still looks so pretty! Now, it is time to pour some Victorian edge stones XD

asthmatic gardeners unite!! I love your videos so much, your garden is such an inspiration for me. This year I designed a little fenced off veggie garden in my parents' yard, it ended up absolutely gorgeous- I have three 10ft tomato and bean florida weaves, marigolds everywhere, some huge squash plants, some scarlet runner beans on the fence, and lots of borage and two sunflowers. I'm slowly convincing my parents that companion planting and planting in the ground is great, and they don't need more furniture or concrete! I live close now so I'll definitely be helping them even more :-)

YESSS!! this was everything I was looking forward to, and more. Stunning work!! Your videos always renew my creativity! 💐 I’m in my 8th year of cultivating my current garden, and I can say it really only hit its stride around last year. It’s small, only about 25 square metres, and I work on it in smaller sections while having an overall plan that I tweak from year to year. It really does take many years for a vision to materialise, and most plants need at least 3 years to settle in. This spring I completely reworked one entire border, and while I’m much happier with the layout, this summer’s display was a little lacklustre - but if gardening has taught me anything, it’s taught me patience and persistence. Now to plan my autumn sowings :)

I've checked out your etsy shop too - wow! There was also a garden update from your Mom's yard and that was great, kind of fun how you went through the summer and I had the instant gratification of seeing how everything progressed. This video here after 4 years of hard work I saw the results and it was incredible. I have done a fair bit of gardening too and it's hard, demanding work. I've spent so many evenings watering and deadheading when it would have been fun to just enjoy the flowers. Thank you for all the beautiful videos!!

Wait, how did so many years pass since you started this project? I feel like I watched the first one of the series last year? Surely time hasn’t passed that quickly? What is time?!? Congratulations on the success of a beautiful garden! How rewarding and inspiring!

A masterfully created video of a masterfully created garden! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Also enjoyed the glimpses of the interior of your house.
