I already watched your Christmas fabric scraps bird video, and I love this idea too! I am thinking this would be a lovely banner for my mom’s nursing home room. Using the tree and star as gift tags is a great idea; they would make fun ornaments as well. The choice of music was very nice. Great video!

What a great fabric buster! Question, when you say to press with baking paper are you referring to parchment paper?

Love it so much! Can’t wait to see what you do with the leftover cut outs of the bondaweb. I hate throwing those away!

Thank you! I sometimes sell a small amount of bondaweb. But I can't get a good price from wholesale man as I'm not a proper supply saler. So you'd better find it online. ❤️

How is the thickness of felt measured? What is the unit of measurement
@bo-tique2729

I'm using 3mm thickness felt here. But 2mm should be great, too.

@Bo-tique~ You are so creative! Question about the felt you use: How thick is it in mm? (It looks 2-3mm thick.) Is it a 100% Wool Felt or a "Blend" with apx 35% Wool and 65% Acrylic? I know this is not the typical craft felt, do you have a specific supplier source or Seller where you purchase the felt from? Or is there a particular Brand Name your prefer? Thank you for sharing talent, inspiration, and excellent tutorials with us! ~~Christy~~

I found some heavy weight felt sheets at Hobby Lobby that are approximately 12 x 18 that are $.99 apiece. I haven’t used them yet but I think they will be perfect for this project. Planning to use a denim needle. Hope that helps.

@@deborahcollins5819 Thank you for giving me that tip! It's generally really hard to find thick stiff felt unless you have access to a local wool shop. I usually have to order it online or purchase from ETSY. I also thought about possible sandwiching in a layer of medium-heavy weight embroidery stabilizer if I couldn't locate the felt locally. I will take a look at Hobby Lobby. Again, thanks!

3mm if you can find it. 2mm a little thin but do the job. 🥰
