Just found this my boyfriend wants me to twist his 12 year olds hair and I can’t even do my hair but he got me looking through videos trying to see the best way to do it. The lady that did his son’s hair for my boyfriend’s sister’s wedding had his parts all jacked up, so thankfully you posted this . Would you say that the heat is necessary for maintaining the crispy look?

Okay, I'm doing my 15 year old son's hair today, this video was very informative. I've tried to do his hair before and something always went "wrong"! I see now that I was using too much product! One question, did you add any oil to his hair? Thank you for the video!!

Yes you definitely don’t need much product and yes I did put a little oil on his scalp when I finish.
