My printer is stuck on preparing

Hi there, thanks for contacting HP Global Social Media Support! I understand that you are experiencing an issue with your printer as it is stuck on preparing. I will do my best to assist you. Please try power resetting your printer as mentioned below to fix the issue: Make sure the printer is idle, not making any sounds, before continuing. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Wait at least 60 seconds. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer. If the printer does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on. Try printing again and note what happens. If the printer prints, you can stop troubleshooting. Regards, HP Support

HP......why have you hijacked our printing? The older printers only involved the printer and printer user. This new garbage now means it printer, printer user, and HP. I was required to update an old printer since it stopped working. I believe it was hit with software to make it stop working! My old printer is telling me it cannot detect a printer. "What....?" New printer 8120e. Total garbage! I'm going to contact Walmart to see what their return policy is. I'm hoping to return this item ASAP! I will try one of your competitors. You took a beautiful thing and perverted it with greed.
