You will definitely need the two additional 'chown' and 'chmod' commands if you are trying to unbrick from xyys (tswift branded) fw. In addition to overwriting those pub keys (ubz, ebz), that firmware broke the 'sudo' mechanism, which is required for running things with root permissions, and those two commands fixes the issue. You would not need those commands (though they would be harmless,) if you were just rooting the machine to add an ssh accessible account with sudo permissions for any other reason. But then again, you can simply load my fw to gain that access - there would be no need to go through all this, at least on an ultra or later models.

I don’t have default AL0 fw but I think you can pull it if you connect with winSCP when you install pbfarmer fw. When you factory reset you’ll get default firmware loaded back.
