👍 That is pretty cool, I have great respect for his work, I myself remember when I did my bachelor and we had to read through this work about the cat massacre and discuss it, it led to interesting discussions.

@@theculturedjinni i mean, nowadays the West tries to present itself as a very rational and proper thing, but you turn the clock back even just a couple hundred years and you find all sorts of irrational, bizarre, anti-Enlightenment nonsense and shenanigans........ well i mean, you still find that stuff nowadays too, but i guess its better on the internet than on the streets 🤣

@@beepboop204 This is true, though we should also not be too harsh on the past, it was different time but yes people believed in all sorts of bizarre things in the past unfortunately we still do believe in a lot of modern new bizarreness too, and some even the brightest of us will not see as bizzaree, and I am sure people in the future will lough at as too for what we believed and also believe their own nonsense too.

@@theculturedjinni i mean, that assumes things get better 😝😝 Bill Burr talked about how his dad never hugged him, to "stop him from being g.a.y." but that was still progressive compared to how HIS dad treated him...... and how people of our generation are totally fine with g.ay people but then trans issues came to the forefront and a bunch of "progressive" people dont get it and the kids who are fine with that stuff look at us like we are not progressive
