I like this advice 👍🏿 Immersion in a native environment is the best way to acclimate to the language.

Great tips Series and movies are super helpful as long as they are "real" and not content that was made for language learners Content for language learners tend to be slow (too slow), and doesn't show you real situations and ways of speech native speakers use

Yes, I totally agree. That is why I usually don't recommend and learn with content for language learners, as it tends to be too slow and not very realistic in terms of speed and pronunciation.

I’ve kinda learned to pick out where some people are from just by their accents. Still have a lot to work on but there definitely are different accents within the same language

Yes, sure it's just like with English. There are so many different English accents that for English learners it's just as difficult to distinguish them:)

Thanks for the tips ❤ I noticed the diference between german spoke in KZbin, movies and series, and the audios of my studies materials. I got scary to eventually going to Germany and dont undestand a single word, so I'm taking a lot of my time to hear "german in the natural speed" with Tageschau, for example

You should join Clubhouse. There is a German club and one room I co-hosted called "Mittagspause". You will learn how German is spoken naturally. It's good to look for additional resources and speak to people whenever you can.

Just to be fair, people need to work on vocabulary too. None of these tips will work without vocabulary. And the best tip for increase the vocabulary is reading.
