How to Understand the Bible | Beginner Believer Series (Part 3)

This year, i told myself, "i don't want to just memorize verses and all, i want to study the different Books of the Bible so that i have a better understanding of things." That way, i avoid using verses out of context, for example. Instead of just knowing a verse, how about knowing what led up to that verse, and what followed after... i purchased a huge book (theology), which i read alongside my Bible. So far, it has been amazing, by the grace of God. The things you said - exactly what David Pawson explains in this book "Unlocking the Bible" ... I have my notebook for Bible Study. Really happy to dig deep into the Bible and know the Living word of God for myself.

I don't exactly read chronologically. I read John, Habakkuk, Amos, Hosea, Ruth, Lamentations, Obadiah, Jonah, Nahum, Zephaniah, Galatians, Philippians, Leviticus, James, and still reading. Thanks to David Pawson's book and, with the help of the Holy Spirit, i now have a better understanding of these Books. In the past, i have read Genesis, Ephesians, Matthew, Romans... but i intend doing it all over again. This time more intensely, with the help of my study guide. Your book, "Every Woman a Theologian" is in my amazon cart right now. A friend told me about you last week and shared your blog and KZbin channel with me. She did this after i shared my struggles living with Chronic Pain for years, and still loving on God... God bless you.
