You do this by highlighting Ryu for 3 seconds, then highlight T. Hawk for 3 seconds, then highlight Guile for 3 seconds, then highlight Cammy for 3 seconds, then highlight Ryu again for 3 seconds, and finally press all 3 punch buttons and the player 1 button at the same time!

Your doing it wrong my friend you hold the start button and press all 3 punch buttons rapidly. You can also start with Ken and go thru all the characters and end up with Ken and it will still work. Watch my latest video's.

If you press start FIRST then a split second after press all 3 punches, I get akuma 99.9% of the time.

Also, you can try [pressing start + 3P] multiple times before "that plane takes off". I did it several times on 2nd or 3rd attempt, without having to restart all the highlighting sequence.

On my unit, it will show Ryu chosen, but if you press all three punch buttons very fast a couple times again, Akuma gets selected.

Don't feel bad the Ai of street fighter cheated on the moves. It skips frames & suddenly upper cuts when you tried the flying kick. Check Replay. Ai doesn't play by human rules.

So close. I totally get it man. Hard to play with a camera in between. Thanks for the video. I bet if you just measured some wood and had it cut for you. You could make the riser as high as you wanted. Just drill some holes, add some screws and paint it black. It would probably be pretty easy. You could even add like a thrift store subwoofer in it for some bass. Anyway... just an idea. I make custom psp's so I'm always thinking of creative alternatives.

I believe it only works on the arcade version of the game

No, since Akuma didn't come into play until Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo. Only the original SSFII was released on the SNES, along with the Genesis for that matter also.

Does anyone ever remember Akuma on Champion Edition??? He was an Ai secret character... Impossible to beat... thats when he was such an unfair character created... now in the newer versions... they've toned him down. His final power move was named Instant Hell or eveyone else knows it as Raging Demon. People dont tell me its Hyper or Super... it was before these ones. I've done some research on this.
