yep this works. I started by looking at my team to decide what smite I would need, we had cc so not red. I didn't look at their team until i got in the game but they had cc and no one who i couldn't get on or get away from so, green smite. I pinged start on raptors and my ADC said yay (I watched the first part of the suggested raptors clear also) i clear down to krugs smite them and back with around 370 gold buy dark seal and head to top camps looking at the lanes to see if I can do anything first, I gank mid and help ahri push out. i take blue then skuttle then dive top for a kill (I died also). I went top again in the next 4 minutes for a gank and died this time to sylas-yone ult combo along with my toplaner, but ahri traded back one kill. I didnt feel like I would be able to trade positive dps vs tank jg diana, top yone , mid sylas so rocket belt first then lichbane, then mercs (because we had 2 ap) then void staff, then upgrade mejais, last item would have been deathcap I ended the game 7/2/10 with 192 cs at 28minutes it was very easy to apply everything in one go. Knowing what to build when and why was definitely what made the game easy. I knew i would be doing quick trades because I didnt have nashors I knew what other items to build and when based on what was dynamically happening a very incredible guide honestly.

Hi, Ekkoliner! Thanks so much for your educational content. I've recently returned to League after many years and have really enjoyed playing Ekko. You helping me improve has played a big role in that. One question: How does your rune pages on Ekko currently look? In the video "Ekko Jungle Runes & Items Guide | Season 13" that you released two months ago, two of the three rune pages you recommended used First Strike, but I think you've later mentioned that you no longer like First Strike. Is that correct? What do you use now instead againt for example a CC heavy team?

Yeah I just play the standard Domination Page just with Electrocute. And Magical Footwear + Futures Market. I also always take attack speed and hp. This setup helps the most in the early and is incredibly consistent. Will definitely make some kind of video about the runes as well again

@@Asoliner But i remember than once you said that after rabadon and specifically if you have mejai stacked you are generally full build on ekko an can oneshot anyone. Why would some extra tankyness be bad as your last item?

@@misiaqq08 Yeah I mean it can be decent but it also takes away some carry potential. When I say "basically full build" I mean that you have your really big power increases but that doesn't mean that you don't need to get any stronger. Really depends on the specific games I guess. But I would say in most you should just build an offensive last item so you can close out the game easier

Hey man Im between playing ekko, eve or both as assassins ap, what would u say are their main differences an advantages between both champs? Also can u make a lil guide bout main counters both champs that are so easy with ekko to win with that u would instapick ekko, or counters that will make u so uncomfy with ekko and pick other option?

I would say Ekko has more outplay potential and mobility than Eve. The biggest difference in playstyle is of course the fact that Eve is invisible so her movement on the map is very different to Ekko's. At the moment Ekko is very pickable in most games but generally the less CC the enemies have the better he is. A video about matchups is gonna be another chapter of the Ultimate Ekko Jungle Guide series at some point. Not sure if it's gonna be the next one though.

Yes still Rabadons. Shadowflame is really a bait item don't buy it on Ekko

What about Shadowflame? I love to pair it with Rocketbelt and Sorc boots pen, it result in basically true damage if the enemies aren't building MR. Do you think it's overkill and there's more value in something like Lich Bane(which I honestly don't even build, I've been building Nashors every game cause I love how it feels).

I have heard many good Ekko's say that Shadowflame is a bait on Ekko. And I think Void Staff is simply more dmg in the late game. And it also allows you to kill tanky targets quite easily.

@@Asoliner Interesting. I mean i never build both obviously, if I see the need for void staff I just won't build shadowflame unless there's like a 1v9 adc on the enemy team that I'm trying to one shot. I might drop it and build lich+nashors and see how that feels.

why isnt cosmic drive a main item for ekko to build? the 100 Ap and the very high AH that you get from it sounds great for ekko's kit

Sadly, as with most AP builds in this game, the answer is 'opportunity cost'. Even if the item would be good in a vacuum, it's never worth passing up your core items (Rocketbelt, Lich Bane/Nashor's Tooth) and the mandatory AP items (Deathcap, Void Staff). So, maybe after Riot reworks AP items in the future :)

It's just an item that is better suited for mages. It's of course ok to build but you could simply put better items in the slots

I have had a couple of games where I am the carry of the team and the enemy has a Malzahar, who keeps ulting me and in late game it takes a long time to get out of the Malzahar R So in this situation, would it be reasonable to buy QSS into Silvermere Dawn? Or what should I do? :)

It can be ok I guess but usually you should just not really be in his range and wait until he has ulted someone else. You just need to play differently against Malz
