Bro, this is late 2024 and this worked like a charm! Waaaay less sketchy than other methods I have seen (I am paranoid about malware lol). Thank you for this visual tutorial, it helped me save money on buying a brand-new MiFi (I just unlocked an old one that nobody uses anymore).
