@@joebidenshusband6593 I think so, it's got its fair share of faults but it grows on you and before you know it you're 70 hours in and still going. I am doing a review, just wanted to get further before fully judging.

​@@joebidenshusband6593 it's no reskin that's for sure. And the game is cheap enough. Has some tough missions and I actually think it's more challenging in places than snowrunner. Mind you when I got the azov in snow2it was like easy mode. Just remember it's not snowrunner

i didn't realise there were options on where to take it. so after failing to get it up the mountain i picked up water immunity and floated it down the river to the main camp!

If I tried to tell you about my efforts to rescue the Tatra Force it would be a novel, or more like a Greek tragedy. Anyway, now that I have it, thanks to Mr cargo drone, two Tatra Force's have replaced my fleet of four Afim's. It truly is a Force to be reckoned with, the A12V motor, fine tune box, lift kit, 50"MHS IV mud balloon tyres, roof and side racks and the Modular Platform A. It's got loads of grunt, the tyres are great and it carries sheet loads of diesel. Cooking through the missions with this combo. Oh and of course the Stone Head door sticker helps a lot too.

Love the comment, it really is an epic job! Mr Cargo Drone is a life-saver. I've not used the Tatra much yet but if it's better than the AFIM I'll give it a blast! Seems like it has a lot of inventory slots, which I love. Suffice to say, my preferred sticker has a QR code...

This game can be really nutty, sometimes. I recovered this Tatra using the Step and it was a "simple" 30 minute round-trip and only needed the Tatra to help a little on the final hill climb. The Bandit, however... that was a 6 hour marathon that saw me consume every last drop of fuel on the entire map (robbed every air drop around and had to purchase two base expansions to provide extra fuel) and I finished with only 24 liters left.

I think the KRS 58 is mostly easier, but that hill is harder than anything in the Tatra mission so I get it. Neither was relaxing lol. I feel like the Tatra is the better reward.

this would have been nice to know, as i delivered tatra to FOB. route was: lake tatra -> corner lake -> swamp -> turn right before 3 craters -> at small lake turn left -> turn right into mountain arc valley (that have bridge on top of it and avalance) -> central swamps -> climb up crevis right side of twin peak mountain -> after big oak tree turn left into 2nd passage way (that is bit upper than airdrop) -> turn right to level where the airdrop is -> down to hill -> strait near FOB -> FOB. route should have 3 air drops. alternative way is to keep going forward in small lake and turn left before big river (between original tatra spot and northern outpost).

Sounds like a decent route. It's not clear you can drop it to multiple places unfortunately. I'm wondering if there is an even easier route but I guess that's the beauty of the game.

Pretty sure you don't have to do this mission to unlock the vehicle - you just have to cough up 300k creds to buy it. Source: I can't remember doing this mission, and I'm pretty sure I could if I did because all towing missions are cursed.

I only had serious problems with water crossing, had to repeat it a few times and they were quite a "ragequit and throw a controller into tv" moments. I somehow managed to get it over the rocks near the bridge and not drown it, eventually. But yes, this mission is a very hard one, needs lots and lots of patience.

The bridge was the one bit I didn't struggle with, it was everything else lol. Especially trying to take it through the rock valley. Absolute pain. Kudos for finishing it!

It feels like the devs put almost no thought into the placements of stuck vehicles. I’ve been enjoying this game more than I thought I would but having no roads like in snowrunner requires more crafty placements by the devs. But no route feels natural, as if they had no proper route in mind when they made this task (and many other tasks). Maybe the goal for them was to allow players to find their own routes and leave the task more open ended, but it ends up just making the whole thing feel tedious and annoying whilst having to skull drag a much larger vehicle behind you.

Rescue the Tatra Force T815-7 is a very difficult mission. I managed to do it on the second try. I only used the AFIM S1960 truck. I used a lot of fuel. I took a cargo drone with 300l of fuel, took another 100l of fuel on the additional module, spent a lot of money but managed to rescue the Tatra Force T815-7 to the Northern outpost A very difficult and challenging mission. A difficult but fun mission. I recommend everyone to try it. It is interesting and challenging.

Yeah, despite the misery it felt good to complete it! A memorable experience. I actually used the AFIM initially, but I took a bad route. Powerful (and thirsty) steed!

Did they change it? I went north to the river, stayed on the northern most bank, the. Dropped it off there by it's own marker. This was after the main mission to unlock the map and several other side jobs on the way. I just decided to try it.

first truck i recovered same route i scouted it out before hand do not try this one just going towards it just scout it the 310 is crap on rocks also what you think of the truck it feels like it has gearing issues with some engine and gearbox combos some combos it cant drive forwards from a stand still bit odd mind fixed with the maxed stuff but they need to work on it imo it should not ever lack the power on flat ground to get going and it somehow does

Not quite what you were hoping for, Al? I seem to play it in phases whereas SnowRunner was easier to keep playing. I was actually trying to review the new Atom but my game won't load. Fun times.

@ATribeCalledCars good description Ben, yes. It may get me more as time goes on but it's not really gripping me at the moment. We'll see I guess. The new Atom I like, but a few observations: turning circle is a bit on the wide side and tight corners can be an issue. When unladen it's actually a bit unstable and it tips quite easily off road. Finally, in the cab view is very close indeed, could be set back more to allow us to enjoy a more involved feeling instead of nearly sitting on the steering wheel. The fuel economy is impressive though for such a large truck.

Maybe I need to watch again (and listen more carefully) but why did you keep switching trucks Ben? Were they seperate attempts or do you need two trucks, one to fix the bridges and the other to actually tow the Tatra?

Oh, I redid the route more efficiently so I showed that but also threw in footage of the first and second attempt to highlight certain things I said. You only need one truck though having a backup is perhaps not a bad idea!
