For mystic, complete one main quest in the capitol then go back to Melve, there will be a mystic fighting something there and talk to him after.

@@DrBustdown-do9puthis isn’t the case for everyone. If you take too long the dragon you need to fight won’t spawn. You can still unlock the vocation though. If the dragon isn’t there when you return. Go back and complete all 3 Monster Hunt quests. Turn all of them in and your status as Arisen goes up. Then return to Melve and the dragon should be there with the Maester of Mystic spear hand fighting it with the civilians

And here I was thinking that the staff was in that one chest on the cliff with no way to climb up. The one near the soldiers that you can save at the end of the cave. No… instead it was in a chest in the bottom corner of an area that I walked past a dozen times.

Im not sure if pre NGP works but i sold my staff and bought random (cheapest) one for sorc from nearest vendor and in worked. Gues no need to farm the cave just buy these weapons from the vendor in NGP.

If the pawn died, the weapon should have routed to your inventory. Go to an inn and check your storage.

You can buy it from shop vendors in the merchants squre, they sell it after you unlock the vocation.

@@lubbo5261 it’s a sorcerer staff because my mage pawn cannot equip it. I bought it through a vendor in the elf village. I was able to fix the problem. All I had to do was progress through the main quest. In the monster culling or something like that. I went through a goblin cave and got a staff in a chest. After unlocking the class I was able to equip the sorcerer staff that a bought

One, game costs 50 for me and two microtransactions are redundant to purchase anyways. You can easily farm items without having to purchase it. Main problem about the game is the frame rate and the crashes. Im pretty certain Capcom will patch the game asap also people really need to blow things out of proportion.
