I don't have a Gigcaster 8 to test the SD card, but I assume whatever format the mixer records to? Maybe Wav files?

I have latency problems with my gigcaster 5. can you confirm that behaviour?

Sold the device, but there are delays in Bluetooth audio, and I remember there may be a delay adjustment setting that can compensate.

@@TheGizmoGarage thanks! meanwhile I found out that it's not the boss device but the bluetooth speaker - although driven through the aux cable. all of em seem to have that problem more or less.....

@@wolfunplugged Yeah, Bluetooth is inherently prone to audio delays. Only fix is using a wired connection

Yes, you can play through USB input as well and have the same controls.

Tthe BOSS instructions are useless, and that is not the norm for them. just an oversight, and needs to be corrected.

Indeed, most BOSS engineers are in Asia so there might be some parts that's lost in translation when English instruction was produced.
