Thank you so much for your super "user friendly" video! I just finished updating the Nav System on my 2017 Hyundai Tucson and everything worked exactly as you explained. I tried to do this by watching another video before I found yours, but the person skipped a lot of steps, which may be intuitive for tech/car savvy people, but I could not figure out the inbetween bits. You added every small step (like, leaving the car running, the screen that tells you to do something but then disappears so you just go to "all menus," and each step beyond all menus.) I never would have figured out what to do at that point. You said it would take a long time to update once you put the SD card in the slot. (Hyundai told me it would take 2 hours.) It might be helpful for people to know that my car (and it may be different for others) took 34 minutes to completly update from the time I put the SD card in until it was completely done. Thank you so much. What a great feeling of accomplishment!

I dowhloaded the program, in the program their are several files, 5 of the files are zipped files, do I have to unzip those files for it to work ?? When I put the flash drive in the usb, on top of the display it says momentarily ( reading usb ) then it goes away, when I hit the download button it says reinsert the usb and try again. This is on a 22 Tucson

I downloaded and installed the latest navigation update, but I keep getting an error message that says the "Audio update file is corrupted" and needs to be redownloaded. I've tried redownloading and reinstalling the update twice, but the message persists. I even tried downloading the navigation update for the 2021 model year (since my car was built in October 2021), but unfortunately, the same error appeared. Any advice on how to fix this and get the navigation update to work properly?

I honestly don't know how this guy got it to work. The downloaded file comes in a folder. The vehicle can't read the folder, so you have to transfer the files independently from the folder to your sd card. Do not copy the folder because it simply will not work. Let me know if you have any more questions.

So, I fumbled my way through to get it to start the nav system update, but boy, is it slow! Of course the directions on the website are clear as mud, I had to wing it to figure it out. I found this while in the car waiting! I take it from this video that the original sd-card is a maps card? So I suppose I need to put the original one back when this finishes? It also looks like I can somehow update the maps themselves. Do new maps come with the system update? I guess I have some digging to do! I'll go ahead and subscribe so I can comb through your very helpful info later.

You need an SD card with a larger memory size. My 2016 Tucson came with a 16 gb SD card and the update recommended using a 32 gb card. I ended up using a spare 64 gb card I had and it worked.

I was not successful in updating the software in my 2019 Tucson. I only have USB port, no SD card port and the nagivator downloader says I need to update with SD card. I'm bummed. Had the car 4 months now and still not able to use Bluelink.

This method of update seems to be for infotainment systems with navigation only, if you do not have sd card i think it means your system doesnt have navigation, i think i saw a video where you can update through usb however you shouldnt use the files you get from this tutorial to update

YES. I keep getting Error Code: [604] Updating has failed. Please check and try again. I've had an open case with Bluelink for a month, with no resolution. Tried working with the folks at Hyundai Mapcare, but they said that a 600 error code is a hardware issue, not a software issue. Took it to a dealership, paid $200 for them to try to fix it, and they came back and said the entire head unit needs to be replaced...which is $4500! Absolutely ridiculous.

I have a 2020Venue. I’ve downloaded the navigation installer & update 3Xs and ran it on my Venue 3Xs. It keeps saying “navigation is unavailable”. Do I leave the USB flash in the port in order for it to run? You said to leave the scan disk in the car. I’ll try driving the car tomorrow with the USB inserted.

The usb will most likely not work. I'm not familiar with your model, but you should probably use the sd card option.
