This was my 1st time updating after I bought a pre mod switch years ago and got too scared to update but everything went fine even though I've faced issues like black screen after payload and error 2123-0011 For black screen its because I did not update the RCM loader files to the latest payload.bin in all folders. the light colour of my RCM loader is red instead of the light blue though. If you are a sysmmc only user, then update only through the daybreak app. If you have created emummc, you can freely update the stock through system update.

Hey, I have a question about RCM. What is the recommended way to inject? It seems a faff having to use the PC every time when the switch dies, but heard that the RCM dongle and android are not 100%. The RCM dongle seems the most efficient, what do you recommend?

I recommend RCM Loader. It is not expensive and you can always have it in your pocket. Its battery lasts for a couple of months, so you don't have to worry.

If you are talking about the rcm loader, it should be a blue light.

Hi,i am having issue with tegra rcm. When i had tried to put my switch in recovery mode it had detected my switch and then tried injecting the hekate payload but an error started happening. Then i tried it again but this time rcm was not detecting anything. My laptop kept saying 'issues with connected device, a malfuncition had previously happened. Try another cable. I then got another cable and this time it did detect it but then the same thing happened again. I then got a third cable but nothing came up. Please could you help!?

I used the website IsMySwitched patched before i purchased my v1 nintendo switch and it comes up as unpatched and it still does. I have deleted all the files on my sd card and have followed you tutorial again from the previous video but still no luck due to the injection payload. Tegra rcm was not detecting my switch because it was due to tegrarcm not responding everytime i inject the payload for hekate v6.2.0. Then i would have to close the application myself. After that an error would come saying 'USB device not recognized The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.' It would take a lot of trys for usb to not come up as an error and tegra rcm to detect my switch again which it still does. Is there a way to fix this or an update!? I appreciate your help very much!

Now I see that the comment was written on the update tutorial... You can try installing the driver from the settings tab in tegra rcm. You can also try with the second, third, fourth cable... Bro. I am having a total headache with getting tinfoil to run. I follow this guide. And also did a complete wipe of my current cfw system. Even wiped the sd card with a factory reset. Used 2 different kind of sigpatches. Now i have many times wiped my sd card. But tinfoil can and will not boot. It said software cannot start. And then a blank tile with never ending circles comes. I wanna do this so bad. But when I go to delete Hekate I don't have it in my SD card. Not on the root as you guys. I'm guessing not many have this problem because I read almost all the comments. And the 1 or 2 that had this issue ended up with problems and error codes. If you can shed some light please help. Thanx.

It doesn't matter that you don't have a hekate on the root of the sd card. It is important that the switch is already modded.

It is. Hekate and Atmosphere. Tinfoil and I used to use a shop that haa been shut down for months now. I heard there are other shops available now. But I tried adding thwm and get a network error code. Sooo. Wanna update so tinfoil and the shop work. So what just delete tinfoil in the switch folderand do everything else?

This is for Hacked Switches NOT for Modded ones, there is a difference, Hacked you need to use the jig and modded you soldered a board to the cpu and other components, not the same.

After following all the steps in the video, the update worked. But all the already installed games are not starting anymore.. wants to download them again, what of course doesnt work.. seems, there is a problem with keys/signs? How to fix that? Do i have to uninstalll and reinstall them all?🤔

@@IDX3Tutorials yes, tinfoil shows them all but i cant start them. But they are still on the sdcard, i can deinstall them without problems. Maybe it had to do with one step in the update where i had to setup manually a emuMMC folder on the sdcard, because there was none before..
