Thanks, just upgrade to 16g ram and added a SSD , tons better. Great video. I had to plug the power in before it would boot, but after booting once with power it is all good. Weird

Yes, as long as you use a low profile heat sink that can fit inside of the laptop. And yes you definitely need a heat sink so that the drive will not overheat.

You can use a cloning software, and it will clone anything that you want or you can back up specific programs in Files. When you buy a new hard drive, usually they will give you access to a specific cloning software like western digital drive gives you access to either acronis Or the western digital tools to clone your hard drive to a bigger hard drive an exact copy. Maxim reflect used to be free but now it is not, but it is a very effective software to use. I hope that answers your question?

No, it is not possible to upgrade the CPU or GPU in this laptop as they are soldered onto the motherboard and they are not interchangeable.

It doesn’t necessarily need a cooling pad. It wouldn’t hurt any. Just make sure that it has plenty of airflow that it’s not setting up against anything that restricts the airflow from pulling air in the laptop and letting it pull out the hot air and also do you want to do maintenance and keep the inside of your computer clean every couple of months or so.

Can i mix up the brands of ssd and ram for example my ram is crucial brand but my ssd is samsung brand will it affect anything?

I believe the MSI has a bracket that holds the ssd 2.5'' inplace for a more secure fit. I ended up throwing mine away on accident but i saw them on amazon for like 16 bucks

@@ModernGunCraft i understand it came with a adapter and 4 screws if u don't use unless it really drops drives not moving just saying if u don't want to spend 15 to 20 on replacement they sell 2 way tape that's heat resistant

I have installed the fresh window 11 on GF63 Thin 11SC. I haven't taken any recovery image before the new os installation and deleted all partitions during the fresh installation of windows 11. Kindly tell me how I can do msi f3 factory reset without recovery image?

@@RanjeetYadav-qu8xo if you have deleted the partitions, you would have to call MSI and order a recovery image whether it’s on a DVD or a thumb drive.

@Mr_Goody I am trying to do MSI factory setting recovery through WinRE tool ( f3_recovery_usb) but there are two errors showing:- 1. Please make sure the current disk partition's layout is factory default setting. 2. Please make sure the current OS HDD is in the master HDD place. How can I fix these issues? I found a solution for the 1st one on msi forum but not sure about partitions size for GF 63 THIN 11SC
