Yes, you can test it every time, and actually, you should test it because if you put the wrong orientation then you can change the direction, and also you can find out if you have a bad led. Thanks for asking and thanks for watching.

Sidhu, I should have been more detailed in my description. It is the grab handle in front of the passenger front seat about knee level. Also interesting FWI, we know vehicle mfg use experimental parts and follow the life span by VIN. My 2008 H2 must have experimental brake pads, I have 185,000 miles and they are not close to needing replacement. WOW. Thanks for the great advice.

I have not found anyone with a Hummer 2008 H2. There is a grab handle in th middle of the dash about breast high on the passenger side. I do not know how to access it, lose on one side. HEPL

I recently did this on my Chevy Silverado with LEDs from amazon. They should have resistors in them already. I did a super clean job and I thought it turned out great. I tested them with a 9 volt battery and some wire to be sure they all worked and they did. But when I put it in my truck only the blinker lights want to work. Any ideas as to what’s going on? All the other dash lights and stepper motors work as well, just not the lights behind the gauges.

Change the polarity of those 2 leds, I think I did mention in the video for those 2 locations you need to solder opposite than others. I hope it helps please share the results, thanks for watching.

Do you havea a polarity diagram for installing the bubs. I can't tell what the polarity is for the cruise control light or the 9 main lights. I got the turn signals lights to work after flipping them and all the main lights go on, but they stay on constantly and it seems to be interferring with the information gauge.

Sorry, I don't have the diagram, but the cruise control light will light up once you use it. I think I did a shown in the video that there are 2 settings for the bulb testing one is turn on most of the bulbs and with the second settings, it turns on individual bulbs. @@SidhuDIY I went with the blue and it really is nice. On my son's H2 i went with white and it is really bright and very nice. By going with the blue LED's it is still strong but the brightness is muted. Highly recommend the blue. The LED's you recommended were right on point. Strongly recommend anyone doing this to use the LED"s you posted on your video. Thanks again.

Sure you can do that but in this cluster panel, you don't have an option. The only option you have to solder to the board, new cluster panel or other cars/SUVs have the option where you remove the bulbs by rotating and then plug back in. Thanks for watching. 🙏🙌
