Does RAM's memory rank matter when it comes to upgrading RAMs with same clockspeed, Form factor and capacity? Suppose the RAM that comes with laptop has this rank - 1Rx16, is it compatible with the rank of crucial RAM that has 1Rx8? Also there is not much information about this in their product specification sheet.

Yes, theoretically it should support upto 64GB (32gb X2 ). So yes it should support if add additional 32GB RAM

Check the specifications of the laptop from the manufacturer. Some laptops support additional RAM and some don't.

Yes it is, if the RAM supports downclocking. It usually is mentioned in the specifications of the RAM if it supports downclocking or not. Most modern RAM's do.

wouldn’t recommend it, as you will run on 4800MHz anyway. it can also cause issues if the motherboard isn’t rated for a higher frequency. try to match the existing one, or check your MoBo specs and see if you can upgrade both sticks to 5800MHz
