people please if you have windows 7 laptop that you got in 2011 or before do not install windows 10 not all the drivers all supported you will have problems later....but if you have windows 8.1 laptop that you got on 2013 or 2014 then you are safe .on windows 7 you can install windows 8.1 its has updates till 2023

That's not always true... It depends which Windows 10 version you install.. and even then, my computer which had a first generation i7 (over 12 years old).. And it still runs the latest Windows 10

Ok.... I tried this thing. It took me almost 4-5 hours to download but in the end it did ask me the product key. I went to Google.... got one random key luckily it worked and I upgraded my windows 8.1 to 10 successfully. One problem is there, to personalize my PC it again asks me to activate windows and a product key. But overall im very much happy with the results. Thank you

HELLOOOO PLEASE I'M IN DESPERATE NEED FOR HELP! so I tried to update my computer from win7 to win10 and it all went well until it tried to restart. the computer is now stuck on the boot screen (nothing but a black background with the windows 10 logo, nothing is loading) and nothing is happening. it's been like that for two hours, and I am at loss. You forgot another method we can make a bootable windows 10 usb by step 1 download windows 10 iso and install rufus step 2 get a usb and plug into your PC step 3 Open rufus and select the iso file that you downloaded in step 1 step 4 set the settings and press start step 5 when done restart your computer and press F12 untill the boot manager opens step 6 select the bootable usb step 7 you will be in the setup and you can install the windows 10 DONE
