If your cable snake has single TRS cables and you find you need to split it for a Cymbal that requires 2 TS cables you can use a breakout cable. That splits the TRS into 2 TS cables. This also works if you want to take your dual zone inputs and use single zone toms and get more toms, or maybe use a bar trigger for a bell and so on. Just FYI

I really don’t like my Titan 50 kick pad, it’s too noisy and I have to use a high volume with my headphones, I change the beater for a felt one but not helped enough. In your opinion what’s better to upgrading: kick pad from Titan 70, sd600, 1250 or another brand but in the same range of price? thanks a bunch, all your videos have seen very useful for me.
@demonicsweaters8 ай бұрын
It is pretty hard, I agree. The SD600 and 1250 pads are both great and are exactly the same, just a different color. I like the T70 pad too, but not sure that one is sold separately.

After 3 years,I broke my kick drum from my alesis nitro mesh. Found out how weak they made it but still feel I got my use out of it. Is there a electric kick drum you prefer, thats built strong n not a crazy price. Cuz to replace the alesis one is around $80
@demonicsweaters Жыл бұрын
All of the cheapest kicks are around $80. Simmons and Yamaha both make decent ones for about the same price. amzn.to/3jmUfPm, and KP2 Mesh Kick Tower: musiciansfriend.smart.link/pz9t9s829?producturl=/drums-percussion/simmons-kp2-mesh-kick-tower

Hi, why don't brands sell their kits without module? Imagine you want to keep your module and just upgrade the hardware... It doesn't seem possible to buy a new kit. Why is that ?

Actually Yamaha does

hello i have a question ? is there a way to add a cross stick feature to the simmons titan 50 ? any ideas would be helpful . thank you , Darten
@demonicsweaters2 ай бұрын
I think the closest thing you can do is create a custom kit with a click sound on the rim. I don't think there's an actual cross stick, but there's some percussion and electronic sounds that sound close.

I agree that the Alesis 8" snare pad is too small. What would you recommend?
@demonicsweaters Жыл бұрын
basically any 10" or 12" e-drum should work. Check the used market. Roland PD100 and PD120s are always a good choice.

I bought donnor drums which came with three cymbals and the ride sounds off I wanna know what modules would work with a donnor kit. Do you have any ideas?
@demonicsweaters5 ай бұрын
Most modules will work, but you may need to replace your hi hat pedal. The only way to know for sure is to try it.

Awesome video!! I have a question, I have the alesis nitro mesh drum kit, and I don't really like the sounds on it, can I hook up a drum machine to it and change the sounds through the midi cable? Thank you!!
@demonicsweaters2 жыл бұрын
depends, it may work if you can get all the midi notes to match up, but I would expect the results to be mixed, without extensive tinkering

@@demonicsweaters how about using hertz drum software, can I change the sounds through there using the midi cable? Iam new to the drum software stuff.
@demonicsweaters2 жыл бұрын
@@jameymacqueenjameymacqueen7087 yes, programs like Hertz Drums, EZDrummer, Handy Drums, etc... are all designed to use a USB cable from your drums to your computer to produce new sounds. You will also need an audio interface with low latency on your computer.

Hello, i have a nux dm 210 edrum and wanted to replace kick pad. Is it right that almost every kick pad should be compatible, because they all work the same way?
@demonicsweaters10 ай бұрын
Yeah, a kick pad is pretty simple single trigger. Most should work. I like these yamahas because they have a sensitivity knob amzn.to/3tMpw3X

Is there a way to use a splitter to add extra cymbal on simmons sd500?
@demonicsweaters Жыл бұрын
I don't think so, since all the pads and cymbals are single zone with the exception of the snare. Maybe you.

@@demonicsweaterswell, if it helps anyone, I was able to split my toms on SD500 simmons, I had to use All mono cables and adapters , it allowed me to add another tom, new tom is same sound as original, but does work. I just split my cymbals also, had to use all stereo splitters and cables but works great, I even double split them so now have four crashes, all same sound but choke feature still works on all, I even added a roland cymbal I had and it works too, choke and all, hope this helps someone. Only thing that doesn't work is when I attached my roland snare, lost the rimshot feature(even know that simmons cable is stereo, as is my roland) but center works fine and has better feel than Rubber simmons snare.

Hello! I have cheap drum kit. Alesis nitro mesh kit. I wanted to get bigger snare, so I buy ATV Xd P13M snare from drum-tec (I am from Croatia - Europe). But there is a little problem. Snare has two zones. Center and rim. When i hit center a bit harder it triggers rim. I tried to tweek setings in the module (DM7x) but stil not perfect. ATV has 3 cone design, but I dont know where the rim trigger is placed. And module does not have center/rim balance function. Please help!
