I love how I got the 2005 G55 AMG and ONLY the 2005 and ONLY the G55 NO OTHER YEAR is incompatible with the DEPO projector headlights that look like the 2007 - 2018 version. So I have to do this modification instead. Thanks for the video.

That's just my luck too when I go for mods. Haha this vid is now a few months old but the lights are still working great! No complaints at all. You WILL need those ballasts due to the CANbus. They don't even work without em.

@@TheRustedGarage Can you link the CANbus resistors and the LED light bulbs you used? If they're on Amazon that'll be a plus. The links in your description didn't seem to work. Also, did you do anything with the parking light and the Fog Lights? I'm thinking I might as well upgrade those to LED too IMO. Thanks!

I chose not to upgrade my day runners but I did get LED turn signals in the front. You'll need all 3 of these products if you want to use LEDs for the turn signals. What kind of balast did you use? Where do we buy?

On Auxito's website they call it the "H4/9003/HB2 CANbus anti-flicker warning canceler for LED headlights." You'll need something like this for any vehicle that uses a CANbus electrical system

I have Depo projectors on my 2003 g55 and gtr lightning led bulbs and ballasts. They still flicker like crazy and keep giving error codes and keep cutting out. I am about to loose my mind they look so bad night time

I recommend the ones I used in this video. Make sure if you buy them you also use the canbus adapter to remove the errors. Up until I sold my G I never had problems with the headlights. Use my link on the description for a 15% discount!
