How to Upload a VRChat Avatar From a Unity Package

I'm still pretty new with unity I'm having a problem that I don't know how to deal with. My avatars facial expressions are working but her fingers don't move and I have no idea how to fix it.

I can't get hands on with my assistance. But pink models usually mean that something is wrong with the materials on your model. Here's a video on how to make them. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3fPial6j8qteLM If you want to use toon shaders try out something like github.com/s-ilent/scss

Usually packages have a Unity scene containing the avatar. You want to find the scene, in the folders you added.

I'm not sure what you mean by tape, but you can add an "VRC Avatar Descriptor" to your avatar. In the inspector window, with your avatar selected, click add component and search for the text I put in quotes.

It matches the version of Unity that VRChat uses on their servers. They are building VRChat with Unity 2019.4.31f1.

I was able to upload it but when I went to access it in game, it said "this avatar is not available on this platform".

Most likely it was uploaded to the wrong platform. If you are going to use it on Quest you have to make sure it's set to build for Android. docs.vrchat.com/docs/cross-platform-setup

You should be able to follow the general process with a Unity Package you bought! Their folder structure may be different but uploading should be the same.
