Hi is it possible to change the batch name to whatever name we want example like costing journal-jul'21 instead of spreadsheet no.

You can enter your own batch name....Journal import creates a Journal batch name using the below format:- (User entered Batch name) (Source) (Request ID) (Actual Flag) (Group ID). If your batch name exceeds 50 characters, Journal Import prepends the first 50 characters of your batch name to the above format

Journal import program will create journal line numbers automatically once the journals into Oracle GL

First of all thanks for your quick response, sir. The sequences are not the same as the spreadsheet, journals created according to the account codes in ascending order. Can we have the same order as the spreadsheet? Thanks again. 🙏

@@raniklmy4552 Can i know the exact business reason as to why you want to have the Journal line number in the same sequence as that entered in Spreadsheet... In what way does this matter? As the long as the journal lines entered in spreadsheet are uploaded and the journal is created and posted for that account code combination and the balances are updated, then i think we should be ok

Yes.... Trial Balance is uploaded as a journal entry and hence the same can be uploaded via Web ADI

In general, these kind of issues arises because of excel setting issues. Refer Oracle Support Note Id:- 2004134.1 and update your excel settings and then try again.

There is no such Standard Web ADI for uploading of PO's. But there is a standard functionality to auto generate PO's based on approved Purchase Requisitions
