Hollow cone nozzles are not suitable for perimeter treatments. They are designed for treating plants not flat surfaces you encounter around the base of the home. The Birchmeier backpack sprayer is an overpriced, poor quality piece of equipment. The Chapin commercial duty backpack sprayer is far cheaper and better quality sprayer. I have been working as a PMP for 21 years.

Agreed. The flowzone 4 gal 115psi battery backpack sprayer is one of the best things that ever happened to pest control.

I've had a Birchmeier Flox for ten years with only one issue around 5 years in needing to replace the o-rings in the wand. It's been a fantastic backpack sprayer. $265 for 10 years or more? I think it's paid for itself and then some.

Chapin is garbage unfortunately. I prefer Birchmeier or Flowzone I use both my daily work and good results.
