Great video and very professional presentation. I have mice getting in my attic through unscreened gable vents. they're scaling the brick on the side of my house, running 20 feet up the exterior wall, and entering through the gable vents. I'm going to try to exclude them using hardware cloth installed on the inside of the vent, but will over-layer it with metal window screen to keep the bugs out as well. thanks for the tips!!

You missed a very first trick is do this at night when all the wasps are on the nest. It’s fine to show it in the daytime, but do it at night not to mention it cuts down on their ability to stain you because they can’t see good at night either. If you stay in the dark, have someone else from a long distance away shine light on it then they can’t see you

What about moth balls??
@lizdahl847Ай бұрын
Absolutely do not use moth balls in kitchen. That smell alone would make your cooking food impossible. I wiped down cuboards with a Clorox mixed with water and also sprayed alcohol. Also used pantry moth traps..

I did a heat treatment with 150,000 btu kerosene blow heater some fans and 2 thermostats I placed one in floor and one on a high table With 150,000 btu it heats the infected area really fast. With in a hour I went from 70 degrees on the floor to 120 the mid level thermometer was reading around 135 to 140. I'm guessing at that temperature because the thermometer was only rated to 120 and it was way past that. I stayed outside for about 4 hours checking on things about every 10 to 15 minutes. Making sure I didn't burn my house down. Here's what I can tell you about the method I used. It worked. The con was 2 things. I had a kerosene smell for a couple day's it went away. Also I destroyed 4 plastic blinds. I seen how expensive those bed bug heaters are to purchase. With a little thinking I purchased the heater off of FB marketplace for $45 $25 for kerosene $15 for the thermometers and 30 for new blinds. Around a $100 total. With the amount of heat I used those little things didn't have time to react. I seen the electric BB heaters I don't like the ideal it takes 6 hrs to get up temperature giving the bugs time to run. I also wanted try the same thing with a propane blow heater. I just couldn't find one above 60,000 btu. It was a little thinking outside of the box saved me thousands and solved the problem.

I have a thing called fly kill of the week, and that's what I was searching for but this came up. It's kinda a sport in my house, and last week I caught a fly in mid air with my hand, pulled a wing off, turned on the garbage disposal, and put that fly down the disposal in the kitchen sink. That was fly kill of the week last week.
@elenataubebailey39572 ай бұрын
Pulled a wing off? You sound sadistic. It’s one thing to quickly kill a bug, it’s a whole other mental illness when you want to inflict pain on it before killing the innocent animal.
