I got my Applicator and then three months later a Branch 2 the old school way. Long before PSI exams. When I got my Operators it was through PSI. My how things have changed in the industry. In fact, I didn't even have to do the live scan back then either as they didn't start that till 2004. Nice video for the newcomers to the industry.

Do I have to be employed by a registered company before I can apply to take the exam? Or can I take the test before I get a job

It's amazing all the hoops you have to jump through and the liability you take on. Plus when an audit occurs, you can be fined for every i not dotted and every t not crossed. But any janitor or maintenance guy can get 99% of everything we use right over the counter without having to do any of this. Some in the industry would say, yeah because you're getting paid to do pest control. That's true, but if pest control is part of their duties then they're getting paid to do it too.

Do you need to work for a company for 2 years before starting your own company?Or 3200 hours,which would qualify you for two years as well that would be about one year and one month instead of two complete years.Does anyone know?

Wait are you sure you mean license??? I’m certified in North Carolina and to even APPLY for a license (before the federal background check) I have to have two years experience in each category.

@@YoungNaija Live scan is mandatory. No real company will touch a convicted felon due to potential liabilities. All companies in our industry also contract with a qualified firm to conduct a background investigation. Also investigated by Homeland as well. Most major companies have schools on service and you are going inside of people's homes. Like I said it is to much of potential liability. You have to be squeeky clean all the way around. That means driving record and appearance as well.

Yes but depends on the type of felony. if it was grand theft home invasion....then NO lol if it was violent assault against a woman....probably not. if it was drugs or anything else not related to what your duties entail then yes. If you're in LA, work for me
