If a take for example a 6 inch of thread and measure it on the bead board, it is not 6 inch (3+3). Why does not happen? I never end up with the intended length when I use bead board. (I am taking into consideration the length of the clasp, too.)

You will have to take the diameter of the beads into account when measuring the length of thread. If you have a 6 inch bracelet, but it has large beads, you will need more length to compensate the space they are taking up when on your wrist. When using the bead board it is best to lay out the beads first to the length you want the finished piece to be and then once you know how many beads you are using, string the beads and trim your thread accordingly, leaving some extra length to tie any knots you may need. Hope this helps!
