I just wanted to say that I am now a Velcro Roller Aficionado because of you. I have different sizes and they are a GAME CHANGER for my thinning hair! Thank you so much from this grateful Newfie! Have a great day!

I watched that blow dryer brush video and decided to dig up my old blow dryer curler. Game changer! My problem now is that my new no-layer bob is a triangle. I thought with my thinning hair (with visibly wider part line), no layers would help. I’m worried adding layer will just make the ends look thin and whispy 😕
@GlamGirlGabi
@GlamGirlGabi 5 ай бұрын
@@EnitZee This haircut that I have now has some layers and it didn't thin my baseline out too much. If you feel triangular, you likely need layers. It's funny because it's such personal preference. I actually am going back to get my hair blunt and short again (and cut out the layers) because for whatever reason, I feel so much prettier when the base is very heavy and dense.

@@GlamGirlGabi Thanks Gabi! To make up for the fullness at the bottom, I’ve been trying to build height at the top. It’s just not the blunt look I’ve seen you and other ladies rocking. Beautiful! I prefer a little fullness without frizz, even for my everyday look. My face just looks better with fuller hair, and the older I get, the more I need the curves in the hair to soften the lines of the face.

I enjoyed this as a 68 yo I had a big rich girl full bob. My old time hairdresser showed me some of these tips. What cracks me up is the young hairdressers don’t ‘get’ the big hair look, so I grab the dryer and do it. Women next to me watch how full and fluffy it is!

@@WSN-o9i Agreed! They say, "Be happy with natural". Well, if I wanted natural I wouldn't be getting it cut in 100 layers. Natural on my diamond head is flat and peaky and unflattering. First things first You look beautiful! Loved this video. I am 69 years old and just got a bob cut for my fine hair this year. Came across a hair dresser who knew his stuff. So I'm going to say if you are not happy with your hair dresser try some other places. It's always easier to tell a new stylist what you want then trying to get change from your stuck in the mud previous stylist. P.s I just want to say I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair! Cut, style and color! People have said it brings out my eyes! Wow didn't even know a hairstyle could do that! Lol 😂 Bottom line, your video helped me 💯 percent step by step on my everyday at home styling! You are a gem! Thank you! ❤

Wow! Thank you. I really learned a lot. I have fine thin straight hair, and it has been a lifetime of trying to volumize it. I also didn't know that I needed to wait until each layer was thoroughly dry before going on to the neck section. So that is what is making my straight hair look wispy and fly away. Gosh thank you so much. And look at all the product you use. Wow. I need to use more. I thought more product would make my hair look dirty or weigh it down. I love your hair and how you got it to look so smooth and volumized.

Having been born in the early 1970's, it's so funny to hear a style from the 1960s (one of my favorite fashion periods) called the "old money bob" lol I used to love that look, which still appeared in the 70s, and then its resurgence in the 90s, and I love it now. A really easy way to get so much style and glamour from a bob. OMG I love that roller elastic trick. I have that same set and what I would usually do is rotate the handle of the clip down to the scalp, and then add a duckbill clip and secure it but it didn't work perfectly. The elastic is better. Your make-up looks particularly beautiful in this video with that fabulous hair 🙂

You may not see this since it’s such a late comment. I just wanted you to know that I didn’t get the waffle iron initially because of the price tag, but then Prime deals struck and I pulled the trigger on an excellent price. I’m so glad I got it. It is a game changer. THANK YOU!

Gah! thank you for this! It was 35° in Berlin in July, and I was dying from the heat and made an emotional choice to cut my hair into a bob with ZERO experience with short hair. Ugh, my hair has been a flat mop for a month... until now! YAY! 🙏

I LOVE IT! I have wavy mid length hair that I have always loved but I have always thought I looked like a boy with short hair so I have had it long since high school, I’m 58 now. I had bought the root boost before but I was never told how to use it. Thanks for the tutorial on it. BTW, I have started cutting my hair more and more but I think this new Old Money Bob style just might be my next new hairdo!

I could never do all of that (it does look amazing, though) but thank you for showing me what I was doing wrong when putting rollers in my hair! I had given up trying because it just wouldn't work. Other videos I've watched, they did it really quickly without actually explaining what they were doing. Now I understand that I need to move the hair forward! I'm going to give it another try.

I grew up in the BIG HAIR 70's. I have fine strands but fewer than yours. My only question is, If I use that much root spray will my hair get crunchy? I'm so HAPPY you did this video.Thank you!

You always do such great videos. Thanks for being so precise in your explanations on how and why you do certain things. I also appreciate that you use products that are not too expensive and are easy to find. You look gorgeous as usual!

I love this! Your hair is always gorgeous! I am glad to see only a couple of products that you put on before blowout.. I see a lot of people putting like 4 or more products on their hair before blow drying and I just don’t see that many products doing a lot all mixed together. I would also love to know what eye shadow you are wearing? It looks so good! Please share!

You are the only one I've seen who uses crimpers for volume. I have fine, thin, straight hair and I've used crimpers, just as you demonstrate, for the last 17 years. ❤

Transitioning to this style from my typical bob to get away from that same beach wave or straighter bob style (which doesn't stay in my hair anyway). This styling method stays in my 2A fine hair for 3 days, the time between washes, thanks to a bit of light teasing with a wide tooth comb and spray as required. Cuts the amount of heat styling as well. Time-saving! Great style on you, BTW, but you always look good, darn it! Thank you for the helpful tips.
