I just wanted to say that I am now a Velcro Roller Aficionado because of you. I have different sizes and they are a GAME CHANGER for my thinning hair! Thank you so much from this grateful Newfie! Have a great day!
@EnitZee5 ай бұрын
I watched that blow dryer brush video and decided to dig up my old blow dryer curler. Game changer! My problem now is that my new no-layer bob is a triangle. I thought with my thinning hair (with visibly wider part line), no layers would help. I’m worried adding layer will just make the ends look thin and whispy 😕
@GlamGirlGabi5 ай бұрын
@@EnitZee This haircut that I have now has some layers and it didn't thin my baseline out too much. If you feel triangular, you likely need layers. It's funny because it's such personal preference. I actually am going back to get my hair blunt and short again (and cut out the layers) because for whatever reason, I feel so much prettier when the base is very heavy and dense.

So I'm going to say if you are not happy with your hair dresser try some other places. It's always easier to tell a new stylist what you want then trying to get change from your stuck in the mud previous stylist. P.s I just want to say I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair! Cut, style and color! People have said it brings out my eyes! Wow didn't even know a hairstyle could do that! Lol 😂 Bottom line, your video helped me 💯 percent step by step on my everyday at home styling! You are a gem! Thank you! ❤

Wow! Thank you. I really learned a lot. I have fine thin straight hair, and it has been a lifetime of trying to volumize it. I also didn't know that I needed to wait until each layer was thoroughly dry before going on to the neck section. So that is what is making my straight hair look wispy and fly away. Gosh thank you so much. And look at all the product you use. Wow. I need to use more. I thought more product would make my hair look dirty or weigh it down. I love your hair and how you got it to look so smooth and volumized.

Having been born in the early 1970's, it's so funny to hear a style from the 1960s (one of my favorite fashion periods) called the "old money bob" lol I used to love that look, which still appeared in the 70s, and then its resurgence in the 90s, and I love it now. A really easy way to get so much style and glamour from a bob. OMG I love that roller elastic trick. I have that same set and what I would usually do is rotate the handle of the clip down to the scalp, and then add a duckbill clip and secure it but it didn't work perfectly. The elastic is better. Your make-up looks particularly beautiful in this video with that fabulous hair 🙂

Transitioning to this style from my typical bob to get away from that same beach wave or straighter bob style (which doesn't stay in my hair anyway). This styling method stays in my 2A fine hair for 3 days, the time between washes, thanks to a bit of light teasing with a wide tooth comb and spray as required. Cuts the amount of heat styling as well. Time-saving! Great style on you, BTW, but you always look good, darn it! Thank you for the helpful tips.

I love it like this!! You convinced me to buy hot rollers. My husband and I are having pictures taken tomorrow evening. I’m going to practice rolling my hair in the morning. You look beautiful, as always!
