How to use a CNC Plasma Table! Langmuir Crossfire Pro Tutorial

Join us while we dial in our Crossfire Pro CNC Plasma Table from Langmuir Systems! I show you how we take a concept and turn it into a physical piece of metal using Solidworks, Sheetcam TNG and FireControl.
This is the first time we cut 1/4" steel and we are very happy with the results! I started by designing a shock tab in Solidworks and then exporting a DXF file to use in Sheetcam for setting the toolpaths. Within Sheetcam we create 4 different variations of the Jet Cutting tool to understand the impact the parameters have on the finished product.
Finally, we head to the shop where we perform the cutting and comparison of the shock tabs. The final feed rate we decided on was 38IPM.
