Can anybody tell me how to understand the threshold values in LMMS? Why is it a positive decimal number instead of -xdB? i don't understand the measurement its saying

it totally should be a decimal number lol i just use my ears to figure out where the threshold should be

Tried applying compressors to my tracks in LMMS, sounds a bit better but I have no idea why the beginning (only synth pad) is super loud until the bass hits... would fading in the instruments to "beat the system" be a good idea?

How to use compressors by me: - load C*Compress and not change the default settings - realize audio is clipping - load Fast Lookahead Limiter - replace the limiter with Declipper because i have no idea how any to use any of these shit For real tho, this is very helpful especially for A LOT of LMMS users who don't knkw anything about mixing
