The best way to use it is to use less pressure, unless u want those long type locks look, but that will depend on hair length. The light pressure gives the hair volume with curls at the top of the hair shaft if that makes sense.

@@mikealan1984 The side with the holes, using light pressure. If you haven't seen the twist it up comb, get one of those, much better and its stainless steel, it coils your hair so well
