DEFINED Curls using a Curl Sponge | Naturally Sade

Ever since my son has been wanting to have his hair a little longer, I’ve been putting the time in to make sure his curls look good. I’ve tried many different products and product combinations and I’ve finally found the perfect combo! And the Curl Sponge just makes the definition THAT much better. @naturally Sade I have to pick my fro out every morning and then sponge my hair. At night my hair just smushes down to my head. Any advise on how to hold the sponge look over night?

Honestly it depends how long your hair is and how much hold your styling product has. I always did my sons hair every day too. I’d try sleeping with a durag/scarf and a stronger hold product when styling. Like gorilla snot or something. It might flatten a little still but you might just have to shake it out a little instead of re do it. Not sure if that will help but that’s what I’d try if I was trying to make it last longer.

@@deontesanders6036 yeah try these two products in the video. Wash your hair first, dry most of the water out but leave it just slightly damp, use the moisturizing cream first and then the gel. And then use the sponge until your hair has absorbs all the product. When you go to bed put on a durag. Not too tight but just enough. Your hair will flatten out some overnight (because you're laying on it) but just use the sponge to curl it back up again when you get up in the morning

Junior Providence spritz with water and. Use the sponge again. The water should reactivate the products, but if you want more hold you can add gel.

Depends on how short? If it’s long enough to curl then I’d say yes it will work. And yes the sponge works on dry hair but it doesn’t come out as defined. Depends on what look you’re going for.

No, I’ve tried other product combinations that work well but this is the one that works the best for us. I would test out different ones for your hair to find what you like.
