Excellent excellent tutorial! Thank you! I've seen so many people start from the bottom and roll to the top and I just know that's frying the bottoms inside the flip and it scares me! I have long hair and I don't want the damage esp on the bottom. This technique looks best but I have a hard time feeding more hair in the clamp when I spin the iron and pull away from the head because my hair is so long and is wrapped around many times, however.

I’ve seen hairstylists use a similar technique but the curls don’t come out as tight, it’s more beach wave. How would I do that?

@Melissa Hernandez For a beach wave you want to leave your ends straight, and comb your fingers through to loosen the curls once they've cooled. You can use a texturizer spray or dry shampoo after curling if you want it to look messier. Use a 1" or 1-1/2" iron depending on your hair length and how big you want your waves.
