Hey! Thanks so much for the comment and glad you found the graphs helpful. They definitely take some time to make but we think they add value to the results. We're always open to trying new ways of displaying data. :)

Thats a great idea about the type. What kind did you use and also can it stay on there or did you remove it before putting mb in ?

Hey! Thanks! We figured this out after a few close calls while moving the motherboard during assembly. We used magic tape, which you can find in any store, but most tape should work since you can easily peel it off once the block is installed. Most cases have an opening on the back so no problem in taking it off post-assembly.

I've completed testing blocks and different configurations before coming across your product. Check out my data and let me know if you would be willing to let me test along side the other blocks for a comparison. i9-14900k direct die

Great performance but 300+ watt 🤯..com'on..
@emcoolinc
@emcoolinc 26 күн бұрын
Hey, appreciate the comment. Agreed 300+ W is quite high, but it's a significant drop off from the nearly 500 W you'd see with extreme OCs on the 14900K.

ya 300+ is wild. just use AMD??

@@OC_Gaminggggggg We're on an AMD block right now. Let's see what performance looks like once we're done and we'll do a side by side comparison of these two.

Thanks for the feedback. While our block is price competitive with others in the same tier, we're still working on dialing in our economics. We're taking in a number of factors, including production length, material, and US based labor.

Have you looked at the competition? Average water blocks are around $100 too i just got an alphacool core 1 and it was $135 ek blocks are even more.... water cooling is not cheap lots of cost goes into the production and R&D for these things. They are reasonably priced IMO it should just include a delidding tool and the recommended liquid metal but again that's extra cost and if they don't make one in house that would def add a bit to the overall price.

@@ethanvalentine4299 Agree with all of this. On the delidding tool front - we're working on one now that we hope to offer in the coming weeks. We're doing our best to remain cost competitive across our inventory while developing the highest quality products. We're a new business, so still figuring things out here. Appreciate it!

It's not a direct die. And it's does not help 285K in any way.

Hey, it is mentioned in the video that the block can be used in both direct-die or indirect cooling systems. This particular video was made for people who don't want go through the hassle of delidding and lose their warranty, but the same block can be used in direct-die configurations as you can see in our previous video. You're welcome to compare our results with other reviewers and you'll see that even without delidding we have pretty good performance. We'll do a future video with the same block in a direct-die setup with the 285K.
