haven't ridden in a double bridle in years. gonna start training on of the horse in one here shortly. I'm excited, I've only ridden horses that were already using one. now I get increase my experience and start a horse off in one myself, well with the help of my riding mentor of course.

Kayla Pearson it's the snaffle and curb bit if ur still wondering. U can use a pelham as it is both bits just they are connected

He is a purebred Fresian stallion 😍😊 I've met him at a "Fresian experience" at the stud I got to meet the 3 other stallions and foals and have a lesson on Natasha's Grand Prix schoolmaster 😇 Check out my channel for vids of it 😁

It's a shame that the rules make you use a double bridle indefinitely, but I guess there's no way around it if that's what your dream is. It's an interesting thing to learn about though, thanks for the video!

I agree that they should not have these rules in place for what type of tack you should use because all horses are different but double bridles are not inherently bad. they are bad in the hands of ignorant and terrible riders that dont know what they are doing or care about anything but winning. however when used properly double bridles can be great tools to help with your horse.
