I want my horse to be loyal as a dog, brave as a bear, and light as a butterfly.
B1 Horsemanship is a one-of-a-kind company that prides itself on providing an extensive and authentic collection of instructional videos for individuals in the ranching and horse training industry, as well as casual horse owners. Our main focus is to give a detailed and up-close look at horse and stockmanship skills, showcasing the real, raw side of horse training and stock handling like never before.
Led by Richard Boatwright, a lifelong student of horses and cattle, B1 Horsemanship is dedicated to preserving and promoting the dying arts of ranching, roping, starting colts, and horse training. Richard's passion for his craft is evident in every video, where viewers can witness firsthand the dust, mud, sweat, failure, and success that come with working with livestock.
At B1 Horsemanship, we offer a complete and authentic experience that takes you from the first day in the round pen with a spirited filly to ranch work horseback and roping. With our uncut and member driven approach, we provide a unique perspective on horse and stockmanship skills, making us an essential resource for anyone looking to improve their horsemanship and ranching abilities.
We take pride in our comprehensive collection of instructional videos that showcase the real, uncut aspects of the horse training and ranching industry. Our videos are perfect for those looking to refine their horsemanship and stock handling skills, as well as anyone looking to learn more about the ranching lifestyle. Trust us to guide you through every step of your journey with our authentic and member-driven approach.

Beautiful horse, and a gorgeous day. Thank you for talking about the "feel of softening" as I've found this is hard to explain to cerebral-minded people whether they are riding or grooming horses.....actually, the "feel" of something is not easy to explain in just about anything until you experience it (smooth fly fishing cast, swimming, riding a bicycle, etc.). Your demonstration showcasing when your horse's rear end came under him, causing his body to soften was a great example of showcasing "feel of softening" visibly. Thanks for sharing with us.
