I hope the creator of this video sees my post. I know it’s been a while since he uploaded this. But I bought one of these Jump Starter’s after my wife’s car had battery issues. (She works from home and doesn’t drive the car enough). Other videos were not as helpful. But this one sure did and I appreciate it!

Question if my car is completely dead do I just leave the jump starter on the battery so it charges a bit or how does that work
@SumukhComedy27 күн бұрын
If I’m understanding your question correctly, as mentioned in the video, leave the car running for a few minutes with the jump starter cables on, then remove and battery should be good to go.

Hey, I just got one of these jump. Starters from a goodwill with no instructions. What's the red button on it for And how long do I need to charge it before I stopped jumping cars
@SumukhComedy9 ай бұрын
If you push down on the red button, it shows you on the meter to the right how much power is still left in the pack. I don't understand your second question? Thanks for watching.

I have a 1999 and my battery is new but something is draining the battery. I have a heavy-duty battery charge which is why I am about to purchase this lightweight charger. I am trying to figure out why the batter keeps draining, no light are on, lord help me.

How do you know it's working properly do you have to press the red button, or when it's charging the battery is there a light?
@SumukhComedy3 жыл бұрын
Yes, press the red button and the scale on it will show you how much voltage is in the pack. As long as it is in the green, you are good to go in getting a quality jump. If it's in the yellow or red, then it's a good time to charge it overnight to ensure a future jump will work. Thanks for watching!

@@SumukhComedy thanks and when it's hooked up to the battery how do i know its charging
@SumukhComedy3 жыл бұрын
@@twentyfive2life686 You should be able to already sense that the pack is giving your battery a lift but once you put the key in and start it up it will go. This pack is powerful and one of the best on the market for jumps.
@LTSRIDE242 жыл бұрын
@@twentyfive2life686 that's one of the complaints about this particular jumper, you don't. If it's plugged in to a wall outlet while charging, then the charging light will illuminate, but if you're simply using this as a jumper box, utilizing the internal battery, there isn't an indicator, it just charges automatically. Although, usually once you make connection, you will hear the vehicle respond. Lights / fuel pump, etc. You can also hit the red button while connected & it will display the vehicles charging voltage of the battery & the longer it's connected, the higher the voltage should read, as it charges. Hope that helps!

Do the test button tell you the charge of the car battery or only the charge of the unit itself?
@SumukhComedy8 ай бұрын
The unit itself.

The bottom of my box got soggy. Wondering if you think it's safe to still use the jumper box. The plastic casing only looked slightly damp when I pulled it out but looks like it was sitting on top of the soggy box for a week or so. Any thoughts or ever gotten the bottom of your casing wet? Thanks for the vid!
@SumukhComedy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, ada! I have never gotten this unit wet in any way so I'm not sure I can speak to that. I can understand your concern. I would think that if it was only slightly damp and has since dried it will be all right but given the potential major risk involved, I don't think it would be a problem to go to an auto parts store or a reliable mechanic and just ask them to ensure the safest experience using it.

Yes, you should be good. I've left it in one of my cars and I live in the mountains and it's still worked. Really impressive jump starter. Here's also a fun video of a guy using it in extremely cold conditions in Winnipeg: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaSrZ2BtlK2UgdU

How come no one shows how to remove and store cables afterwards?
@SumukhComedy2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what you mean? In the case of this jump starter, the cables are attached to the starter pack so you simply place them back in the slots on the pack.
