+Kris Slayton James has always told the viewers that he is always honest in his reviews. He has gone out and said that he does the opposite and even explained the marketing of those big name products.
@Art2D28 жыл бұрын
+Kris Slayton Do not be misled because of one mishap. There's other videos where he states negative things about the product that are still up, even disses on his written reviews are there. But that aside, the products he gives the ok to are actually pretty effective as he claims. He even has his own shop now at his site that selects the very best and most widely used by his audience at very cheap prices. There's no shipping cost, and the price is just slightly higher than normal to deal with that, but the prices are better for single purchases this way. And you know why the shop exists? It's just a side hobby for him. This pomade game of his is just a side gig. He is a grad of Standford and has a brighter future elsewhere. Therefore, he doesn't have reason to support every brewer out there as if his livelihood depended on it.
@Art2D28 жыл бұрын
And yet you provide no proof. Just opinion. I'll leave you to live under that rock. I'm done here. But for me, Cam and Pomp are at the same level. It's just that Cam doesn't do that dumb lingo thing that Pomp does. So I do prefer Cam.

Hey Cameron hope you still reply. You haven't made a video in a while. My question is I have always used heavy now went with mediums. So far my favorites are o'douds original and guilty ace. I want to try lights but was wondering which one do you think is the best to start off with I don't care much about price worries more about quality. My hair is about 3.5 inches should I wait until it's longer to even attempt it with lights? I'm able to get a decent one with mediums and with goon grease as well thank you for your response.
@thepompingreaser48348 жыл бұрын
He is in Africa and won't be back until 2017, but I say you should try out a light. If I were you I would get either Odoud's Light or Lockharts light. hope this helps.

i wear hats regularly outdoors and switched from gel to pomade because gel isnt really conducive to a hat. i just switched off from murrays after 6 years (nothing else holds my eraserhead hair down). do you notice any issue with wearing a hat with this (if you wear hats at all) ?

Best part about this video was when you were talking about working around your cowlicks! I have that problem more so because my hair is a little too short being only just pass my eyes! I know when it gets longer it will be easier to work around them! Maybe make a video just in that topic alone also my natural part becomes a problem because it's high up and I don't part my hair anyways and it splits a lot

I even use a light pomade such as Blue Magic. Before I used this pomade to make me a pompadour but as soon as it was hot and there was sun (summer sunshine) my cup fell and my hair was no longer held and were impossible to brush my hairs agains without having to wet it again ... I was forced to buy hard pomades such as Murray's or Daxe (the one in red pot) but it was too heavy for my hair that did not last But the reason why I stopped making a pompadour is that I wanted a more cut in style 50'S inspired RNB singer because I dressed more 50'S than in the Rocker style Otherwise superb chain. Continue accordingly. Sorry if my English is bad, Google translation

Yo this trippy from the beginning of video before the pomade was applied I could tell you have the same exact hair I do with the same exact problems and cowlick. And yes heavy oil based pomade usually are the worse for my hair it becomes to wavy and after 10 mins of combing it's falling all over the place.
@mohamedfarhanmohamedsamsud46118 жыл бұрын
That's interesting. I've always thought heavy hold oil based pomade helps to tame the waves. I'm currently using Iron Society Firm Hold, works best for me. O'Douds original hold couldn't last half a day before my hair gets messed. Lockhart's medium hold seems to work more of medium-light hold, and it enhances the curls in my hair

Heck, I got thick heavy hair and I use Lockhart's fire and brimstone, it only works well after having some build up
