Is there a big difference between a Marcel type and regular curling iron with a small lever handle? Is there a special benefit that that Marcel has vs. a regular iron?

tbf, i could be wrong here, but with my limited trade knowledge on marcels, it’s just easier to use, the handle rotates in ur hand, so you only need one hand to actually do the curling step, and the other to place a comb between the iron and the scalp as not to burn them
