So cool! Plus if you take the full strength color across the black line it also tells you the transparency!

I bought 2 travel sized ones.I love them. When painting I found they didnt take water well but being careful when showing gradation, they do very well.

Love this, I have both sizes! I do believe that you are supposed to paint over the black lines so you can tell how transparent or opaque that the paints are. Thanks!🎨💕

Such a good way to stay organized as you catalogue your inventory of paints and colors, right? Great idea with painting over the lines to check on transparency level- I didn't even think of that!

Great video! I love the color diary also, I think the travel size is perfect for watercolor. I got the large one for acrylic and started filling in It’s also a great way to keep track of any mixes you do, or blending techniques. I plan on using the watercolor one for markers and maybe color pencils.

I love your idea of keeping track of mix recipes too!

Less water is very opaque. I personally dont watercolor that opaque and prefer more translucent watercolor swatches but it is good to see for those that want a gouache look. TFS

Yes, we agree. This is just for color swatches with less water/more opaque on the left -to more water/more transparent on the right -as a guide to what the pigments are in your color options. This is not how you paint but to show you the range and look of your watercolor supplies.
