Hot combing since the late 1970s and have a crap load of real hair . Old fashion stuff works the best my aunt knew how to do her new growth but she used a tiny Kentucky hot comb to do so . Your good tho

Hello If this is the first time you are using one, go with the electric comb It would be safer for you until you get the hang of it
