Most likely will never use a jack. Great explanation. Was curious about pressures and process. Thank you Uncle Phil! 💪😎

" Thats it!"....as Phil does the drunken sailor (foot in a hole) 😂 Good job. Good explanation. Stupid question: Do I hear the tip on that bar?

It's actually the noise of each individual cutter hitting the wood. It's especially pronounced when your rakers are a little low and your chain is a little dull, as here

When can in the video you hear it best?

Please excuse my ignorance but why would this be nessecary? I'm sure ive seen you cut down just as big/tall trees without a Jack. Is it for accuracy, safety, type of wood?

Heavy lean, impossible to fell with wedges.

One of my buddies put a piece of black electrical tape on the handle for the jack for the measurement of how high to cut the jack seat I saw that and was like why the hell didnt I ever think of that 😂

That's a great idea!

You mean I don't need a set of calipers to get my jack height...............I already have a them for setting rakers, and a dial indicator to make sure each counted stroke of the file is on plane?

I have seen some incredible stuff done with the big 50 ton treesavers.. but I'd say about 21 degrees off vertical is possible, but I can not verify the success rate or the exact angle of lean
