What do you do if the controller is enclosed inside somewhere where you can’t easily setup a ground?

This is from the manual: With the transmitter off, connect the red lead to the wire to be located and the black lead to a good earth ground with the stake provided. If the clock is indoors, the earth ground stake MUST be grounded at the point where the wires exit the building. It might require running a length of wire to the outside. Do not use a common ground inside (i.e., electrical or water pipe). Thanks for the question!

I'm having a issue with mine, I connected my ground the foundation ground, and it still wouldn't go past the zero, unless I'm on battery test. But my battery is a little lower then 8, I'm not sure if thats the issue. I also pounded a 6ft steel stake about 2-3 feet down to ensure a good ground. Do you think it's my battery level or could it bee faulty ground or possibly the machine is broke but it's in great condition.

Scott gregery A map of the irrigation system it the best thing, haha! I am most familiar with the Greenlee 521a shown in the video, but I have also used the Armada Pro800D and it works well too. They cost in the neighborhood of $700 (give or take). It is difficult to find valves if the field wires are cut though. -Jeffrey
