I am bit confused about the chart in 3:22 where I understand "er" is the pronoun for maculine nouns right? (so basically in German what this is is an additional pronoun that indicates gender in comparison in English where we only have "it" as nominative for non-life subjects while no words specifically for male and femlae nominative ) However, the below two boxes "den" and "ihn" bring a lot of confusion to me. If I understand correctly. In English structure S+V+O, den is the world you have to put before the O right? In this case, if I have a setence like "ich verkaufe den stuhl", it can be also written in like "ich verkaufe ihn" right? Hope someone can clarify with my question and thanks in advance.

Yes. You are correct. Ihn can be used for inanimate objects such as a chair. Here are some examples that might help. Der Stuhl ist braun. - The chair is brown. The chair is the subject, so I used the nominative masculine word for "the", der. If I wanted to use a pronoun, I could say: Er ist braun. - It is brown. If that same chair is the object, it is accusative, so I use den instead of der. Ich kaufe den Stuhl. - I am buying the chair. If I use a pronoun for the chair in that sentence, I use ihn. Ich kaufe ihn. - I am buying it. In all of those examples the last letter of the article (der or den) is the same as the last letter of the pronoun (er or ihn).

Might be worth mentioning that you use ihn and sie as a pronoun for masculine and feminine objects, rather than es, as you would for all objects in English.

on min 6:05 i think there must be a mistake! "sie" is not "it" Good work otherwise!!
@MrLAntrim

Actually that is not a mistake. Sie is definitely it when talking about a feminine noun that has no intrinsic gender. Grammatical feminine. Physically neuter. = Sie in German and it in English.
