The reason why pela didn't apply the debuff here at 19:22 is because she already applied it with her ult, Ensnared can't be reapplied if they already have it on them so would of had to use her skill her to apply the ice resist debuff from her E4, so you have to skill after using her ult or use a basic first then ult if you want 2 knot stacks.

That's something I don't like about it, but "luckily" I don't have to worry about it because I don't have a single resolution copy yet lol. It's a shame she has to become sp negative or neutral for full effect, but that's where the sustain supplying debuffs can help. Borrowing another debuff LC from a dps would probably be the best move, like swapping SW's LC with Pela's since SW will always apply debuffs on basic.

Yeah, I didn't have any lightcones for pela, so I threw on arch's lc (I got a second copy) the applying of mirage fizzle seems to count as a stack for her. Don't get the defense shred with the ensnare, but purple lady does more damage to mirage fizzle targets if you have sig lc. Just something that I had to for my case. I haven't done like testing on it at all. But from the few runs i've done helps with rotations.

The 160% damage trace isn't what makes atk orb on par to slightly better than lightning orb. It's actually the trace above it, which gives 90% bonus. The 115% and 160% are direct multiplier, which are multiplicative with all other damage modifiers including bonus% that you would get from a lightning orb. But since she has 90% bonus plus some in traces etc you see marginally better results with atk orb (about equal.

One small tip if you run Pela with Resolution of Pearls LC, you should always basic/skill first before using ultimate or else it would only count as one stack of debuff to Acheron

u can over cap up to 3 debuffs it fillls the next ult by the same amount. this lets you apply all the debuffs you dont have yet before you ult. there were times where you couldve just waited to the allies turn to get the debuff to get more dmg.

Just a heads up, I believe you are doing Pela's ordering incorrectly. If you do Single Target first, you get 1 stack if it succeeds, then you do Ultimate, and get another stack. If you do Ultimate first, Resolution triggers, and then will not trigger on Single Target attack. That's my understanding, it happened multiple times in video. Notice when you said it failed to trigger on Single Target, "Effect RES" did not show up over the enemy.

So I actually looked into this more, and I believe I discovered exactly what is going on. It has to do with the text of the Resolution LC, seen below (I added brackets for the important part): When the wearer hits an enemy [and if the hit enemy is not already Ensnared], then there is a 100% base chance to Ensnare the hit enemy. Ensnared enemies' DEF decreases by 16% for 1 turn(s). "and if the hit enemy is not already Ensnared" So when you use Ultimate first, if you apply Resolution DEF shred to the single target you then use Basic ATK or Skill on, Ensnare won't even attempt to be placed on that target. Therefore, when you can, you want to use Basic ATK or Skill first before Ultimate, to give 2 stacks to Acheron rather than 1. Therefore, it's my understanding that if you use Ultimate first, and the Ensnare FAILS to apply, then following up with the Basic ATK or Skill to apply the Ensnare would give 2 stacks. But given the unreliability of this, just Basic ATK or Skill before Ultimate on Pela whenever possible.

The abyss trace actually increases the multiplier itself, not damage bonus so its much better than it seems but doesnt change which orb is better. The trace that actually does make atk better is thunder core which increases dmg by 90%.

@@Iyoverse I think the same. Investing vertically in 1/2 DPS is really good (lc and early eidonolons if you want/can). Being f2p doesn't mean anything. I am f2p in both genshin and star rail and you can get weapons/lc and cons/eidolons. You just get less things that the people who pays. Even with bad luck, with time you will get it. So yeah it isn't that imposible to get eidolons and sig weapons for your favourite DPS/Supports unless you have been playing for less than 3 months

In my experience a Vonwacq planar ornament on the fire trailblazer let them taunt first even if they are not fast enough, and that really helps with stacks and survival (sorry if that has been suggested already!). P.S. Thanks for your vids and great insights about the game in general!

i use e1 gepard on trend market with er rope for 100% ult uptime pela e4 on resolution lc welt with kafka sig lc and er rope the thing with kafka and resolution lc, you would want to basic/skill first then ult so you can get two stack, with this setup both welt and pela have three different source of debuff (in ideal order so u dont lose stack: basic > skill > ult) if the enemy havent taken a turn yet and the lc debuff still present, you use skill debuff, if not then basic atk for lc debuff again (this saves a lot of sp) i give gepard ~30%ehr and with his e1, his skill freezes almost every small mob there is so thats another debuff source, gepard higher innate taunt (chance to get attacked, from ascension 2 trace) makes trend market lc very active too. in conclusion, while its not the most damaging setup, i find it the most comfortable to play with in all types of content this is only possible because i get e1 gepard (maybe e0 gepard with high enough ehr from relic) and a kafka lc i didnt mean to pull welt ult can also sustain in crucical time where gepard protection is not present, with proper timing ofcourse one more thing is because of pela and welt occasional basic atk (a lot of basic attack actually, since rarely they got another turn before the enemy turn so the lc debuff always refreshes), gepard can use way more sp than he needs to, getting his ult back before 3 turn for emergency situation

There's a interesting mechanism in Acheron's ultimate ....... If you split the crimson knot between enemies before the ultimate it's fine If a non elite enemy have one stack or two and they died between 3 rainblades their crimson knots get transferred to elite enemy with higher stacks For example: Marastruck shapeshifter has 6 crimson knots Annihilation gang horse has 1 stack And marastruck soldier(summoned by shapeshifter) has 2 stacks...... Now if you use Acheron's ultimate and the marastruck soldier died in Rainblade one or two then their two stacks gets transferred to annihilation gang horse which have one stack now the horse get 3stacks in third Rainblade........ Sorry if my English is poor .......hope it's help

The reason the horse and the general lived in the FMC showcase was because you hit the general, who had no crimson knots, instead of the horse, making you lose the aoe from the knots bursting and making you lose the damage multiplier you get from popping them, lmao. Clean showcase tho, it gets the point across. You should have also used E on Yanqing before you ulted (you had 0 stacks saved up, so it wouldn't have overcapped), the blades would most likely die, and the trotter would have died, the numbers would have been smaller (less stuff on the field) but the dmg to Yanqing himself would have been higher.

Gallagher scales on break effect healing, and giving him 4pc for the ER is tbh better. He heals so much with his signature weapon that the suggested 2pc cloud is honestly not optimal suggestion. I am running him with 140% break I think he ideally needs 150 but I opted for more crit and ATK for fun.

Oh. I myself is hitting 710k with my Acheron (traces are level 6-8), E0S0 (S5 GNSW) with Black Swan(E0S0) Pela and Ruan Mei (slow ruan mei build on vonwacq + 4pc watchmaker and 260% break effect). Acheron is on 4pc Pioneer 2pc Glamoth with 61/128 ratio lol. Believe it or not, that build and comp above is able to 0 cycle Yanqing easily. Also tried replacing Pela with a 120 BE SW and Yanqing doesnt get any turns (rng only is the weakness implant to be quantum and not ice). It is indeed far from optimal but upon maxing traces + Sig LC (and better relics ofc) she should be able to reach 1m easily (that 710k is vs 2 targets on wave 1) Note: Yes one can say that RM did a huge part as included in the 710k dmg was the Disciple being weakness broken for 132k ice break dmg and the void ranger being broken for 98k)

Her LC isn't necessary but it helps make it 10x easier to build. Use Guib and Pela instead of using Silver Wolf. Her f2p LC do not compare to her actual LC unless you have s5 and the exact same crit rate value of 60-70 before battle. But even then Her LCs effect helps with rotations so it's still just too good to pass up.

I'm not understanding why people are saying she is hard to build. You can legitimately just build her like a typical crit DPS. The only questionable piece in my opinion is the boots. Does a person take attack percentage or speed in that slot. I think the answer to that question depends largely on whether or not you have a sparkle or bronya. If you have either of those two supports, go with the attack boot but if you don't then go with the speed so she can help herself get the stacks needed to get her ultimate faster. The rope is an obvious no-brainer. She doesn't have energy so she doesn't need ER. Go for attack. As for the sphere, the only people who actually care about attack or elemental damage are the people who are doing extreme min/maxing. So everyone else just pick the one that you either favor or that you rolled. As for the teams again, this seems like a no-brainer to me. Considering her Trace that gives her boosts depending on how many nihility characters are with her, you will need at least two if you want to optimize that. If you have her at e2 you can just have one nihality character with her. Grab a support, character or buffer, ideally that would be sparkle or bronya or mei even. Hell if you are really hurting you can even run hanya. Then slap on a sustain if you are not trying to do the sustainless comp. Finally, she needs people to put debuffs on people, so make sure the folks that you fill in for your team can get some of that done for you. I'm not trying to be mean at all . I genuinely do not understand what is hard to build about her regarding her gear and regarding her teammates. This looks like one of those situations where folks are making things significantly harder than it actually is or these people are just a little bit slow

seems that sparkle i so good even at E0 Acheron you still do a lot of damage even just having 115% that's how good she is with Acheron, and if you have sparkles light cone you get 10% crit so you crit damage doesnt' need to be that high, LC, skills, passive buffs and 2 piece set matters by the set you won't see the stats in character section

Btw you don't have to read the enemies details to see if they have Taunt 😉 Right under their HP bar, if you see a blinking red icon, that's the Taunt effect. (not a great tip for color-blind players though...)

Man Sparkle and Acheron are so nasty together, especially when you can still keep the double nihility thing. She was doing damage to everything like they were downed doomsday beasts in the same day I got her 😂 I’m not a fan of MC though, partly because the taunt isn’t guaranteed when you need it to be and the sustain is minimal. I’ve really liked Gepard for when I really need proper sustain. Fu Xuan works too but she doesn’t have that extra taunt and can’t cause a debuff on command like Gepard’s freeze. For showcases and 0-cycles Welt is the man. If played correctly, his sustain is the same if not better than MC, while being a nihility who debuffs every time he gets a turn.

I started star rail like 1 month+ ago and yeah my Acheron and her team has literally nothing, she is 40/135 or smth and she will probably stay pretty terrible for a looooong time. Can still hit for decent dmg but nothing crazy.

for E2S1 Acheron, should I use pela+bronya+FuXuan or use sparkle instead of Bronya? I'm thinking if Sparkle should stay with my DHIL for MOC side 2...I also have jing liu. Please suggest some of the best teams that I can use.

I have the same issue as sparkle is best used in both dhil and e2 archeron teams. I tested, sparkle with e2 archeron does 960k dmg, bronya with 2e archeron does 830k dmg. Since you have jingliu, you could do 134 bronya, 135 jingliu, then give 160+ sparkle to either archeron or dhil. If you need to use both archeron and dhil, use 2 nihility with archeron instead

I ended up getting extremely lucky getting E6 S1 with only spending a little. im finding the best team right now which is quite hard . everything dies fast sure but im still figuring out what is optimal. i find it hard to believe an E0 can hit over 1 million unless its in sim universe

I got my e6 in 200 pulls xD but yeah tho mine is only lvl 70 cuz iv not played sense selee release so traveler low lvl but my highest ulti in Sim is 785k 3.4k 70%/140% (game got a love for def rolls q.q)

E1 Acheron makes it so that you basically have 100% Cr. Rate so I think that's worth it, but I think Aventurine overall is a way better pull value because of what he offers to a multitude of teams.

thats crazy that i need all the 5 stars i lost my 50/50 on to hit big dmg lol i swear im not missing the next dmg reduction character again. its so vital and no one said THAT crucial part. if you missed black swan… tough luck, if you missed sparkle and dont have 250 crit dmg to compensate… tough luck. i have an e2 acheron with her lightcone and 70/140 crit ratio all maxed traces and only hit 200k. truly unforgiving if you lost your 50/50s on every character that matters JUST for her. kinda bummed ngl but that’s gacha for ya. time to wait 2 years for a black swan and silver wolf rerun until i can do half of the dmg everyone showcases 😢
