Funny story actually.. There was this weapon in this game I used to play, where it would teleport you on ability use. Very useful and nothing else did that, and people said it was impossible to power creep. The devs then made a new sword where it would teleport you further, heal you, shield you, kill everything in your vicinity while being spammable. Needless to say we spoke too soon....

@@sodarncute In the correct terms: In a game I used to play called Hypixel Skyblock, there was a weapon called the Aspect of the End that would teleport you on use. It was very useful, did nothing else, and was said to be impossible to power creep. The devs then made a new sword called the Hyperion that, when given three scrolls, would teleport you further than the AOTE, shield you, heal you, and kill everything in your vicinity, all while being spammable. Needless to say we spoke too soon...

One amusing contradiction I find with Acheron is that she performs best with 2 Nihility teammates (at least before E2), meaning that on one hand, her team comps can feel restrictive but also means you can also save your premium non-Nihility supports for your second endgame team. I am both disappointed I can't pair her with Ruan Mei, but also happy that Ruan Mei can then be on the second half. It's quite surreal.

I never liked the argument that Acheron borderline requiring 2 Nihility characters at E0 is actually a good thing, because Nihility characters are so good anyway and you can save your Harmonies for the other team. Ok... so I would just run her with 2 Nihility anyway then, right? Since they're just that good? At least if she weren't made that way I would have the CHOICE to use Harmony or Nihility. This way, there's no choice. You basically have to run Nihility. It's not like I'm short on Harmonies or anything.

You almost always run 2 harmony units for Hyper carry, so her having to run 2 Nhility char at E0 isn't a problem. Hoyo gives you her best teammate (Pela) for free.

I mean, you could still slap that Ruan Mei in your standard Acheron Hypercarry team, replacing your sustain. Sure, your supports must be fast and you must avoid getting CC'd at all cost, but the damage is nuts. I've tried this a few times and there's a pretty sizable difference in damage. RM's RES PEN and dmg buffs do so much.

Leaks also point out that Hoyo will gradually focus on ''summon'' type characters, like Topaz, Lingsha or Jingyuan. Imagine they put a summon that can apply debuffs. It would be either a powercreep for any Acheron team member, or could work alongside them to farm stacks faster than ever, lol.

Short reason to not waste your time: - She's a Raiden Mei - She could be whatever boss she will be in unless her teammates have weakness counter. - Strong Ultimate. - Strong Signature - it's Ei type constellation that shines her well which is e2-3 Honorable mention: - Your not much so average egirl which makes everyone like her. - same model as Kafka. - Aloofed & serious - Introvert - Has Dualty so she had memory issues. In her rerun try to get E6 Acheron and you'd be stacked for at least 2-3 years. She'd be able to brute force any gamemode except for maybe high difficulty sim uni expansions but hey 40% res pen on a unit is still ridiculously OP on top of having rainbow break on every attack. The only thing at that point that would kill your Acheron team is if a boss one shots your entire team/Acheron

jiaoqiu is basically the dream team party member for acheron, because he increases dmg, can apply so many instances of debuffs that acheron, even without any light cone or eidolons that apply debuffs, can basically get her burst double if not triple as fast as if without jiaoqui plus another nihility i cant even forget that he's also a dot character which just means more dmg each time the enemy takes their turn (as well as being a pair-up for kafka dot), plus the fact that he increases ultimate dmg specifically, AS WELL as contributing to acheron's bonus trace that increases the dmg of all her attacks based on nihility team members - acheron players, PULL JIAOQIU.

You can also give her the Penacony Land of Dreams planar set for more ER and an extra Acheron buff!

The best technique in the game. Amazing in all scenarios (aoe, st, blast) and game modes, while quite often being the best option in them. Res Shred and element ignore and huge multipliers making her easy to brute force. Super synergistic and lacking truly good supports while already being the best dps in the game, makes her exteremely futureproof. Literally no flaws or drawbacks, she has everything

You can easily tackle any content with E2S1 Acheron since she can deal damage of all elements. Additionally, Firefly can make any enemy weak to fire. If you already have an E2S1 Acheron Team and an E2S1 Firefly Team, there's no need to pull for anything else. You can use your tickets on other things because you've essentially already won the game.😂

Acheron’s Biggest Flaw is not only her sense of direction, but that she kills Duke Inferno and probably The Annihilation Gang offscreen. We got a trailer for the Duke and his gang like as if they would be HSR’s version of the Fatui Harbingers, only for Acheron to kill them. Great. Just Wanted to Say that.

Ngl a part of me started to dislike HSR writing cause of that. Like it makes it hard to be hyped when you're basically gonna make some of characters with cool designs just to be joke. Like HSR has unironically felt far more childish story wise because of that. With Jiaoqiu, Acheron has her new best team at e0: Jiaoqiu, Robin, and Gallagher/Aventurine. Jiaoqiu's stacking capability is so good and Robin is the most busted harmony support we have now. Acheron is still play as a hypercarry while the rest can do good sub dps thanks to Robin. It fits her well into the meta we're about to be heading to.

However, because I love her as a character as well, I think she's also one of the few DPS characters I would 100% vertically invest in, so I am looking forward to her reruns. There's also a great synergy that I don't see anyone talking about (especially E2 Acheron). Currently the best sustain for Acheron is preservation with Market lightcone (like Fu Xaun) debuffer (like SW) and Sparkle, this makes Acheron not only perfect against lightning weak enemies but also against quantum weak ones as well basically doubling her coverage in such team. But at this point it's already like bringing a nuclear warhead to a knive fight.

For a good while now, my main team for basically everything has been E6 Acheron, Black Swan, Kafka, and Aventurine. I don't even need to think about battles anymore, and Divergent Universe can just be put on permanent autobattle on Difficulty V without any fear of the team losing. The only thinking I have to do in HSR anymore is the last stages of the endgame content, and that's just because it requires a second team without Acheron or Aventurine.

E2 acheron, JQ, Sparkle, and Aventurine is the ultimate brute force team for all game modes that should be future proof well into 3.0 and beyond. If theres one team to veritically invest in, this is it.

I remember back when the 2.1 banners were announced, I was SEETHING because I wanted both Acheron and Jingliu - the latter of whom was the best DPS in the game at that point in time alongside Kafka and DHIL. I pulled for Acheron and her LC, and ended up loving her so much I chose to not pull for JL altogether and went straight for Acheron's E2. In hindsight, this has been a great choice because Acheron has only gotten stronger with the arrival of Jiaoqiu (who I also pulled alongside Sparkle in 2.4), while JL has begun to lag behind because she has already reached the peak of her power unless Hoyo starts dropping HP manipulation-centric units. Until then, though, I'll be weeping for the departed (and setting the seas ablaze, and saying boom as well).

Hot as hell, Raiden, Lightning(coolest element to most), great lore, op in game, has badass animations/visuals with a godly sfx to ult, can one shot enemeys in both simulated universe(all modes depending on the mob) and in open world using technique, and the character design itself is badass.

As a day 1 acheron player, the reason i pulled her is that even if somehow hsr came up with another character with an equalky or superior scaling than her absurd ult, her ramp up time is incredibly fast, as long as we can apply debuffs fadt enough, she can blast off her absurd overkill scaling ult 2 or 3 or more times a turn. Plus, her own speed doesn't matter, so she can stack offensive stats on her boots and substats. You would need someone with double or more of her damage scaling to even compare. Plus, while energy buffs like tingyun are universal and will likely be balanced, debuff application is not, especially for characters eho can attack really fast, their personal damage doesn't matter, as long as they can apply debuffs to ramp up acheron absurdly. The only realy weakness her kit has is that it's strict on team structure, so if you want sustain, there's no room for a harmony character, but her early constellations make that a moot point by removing that limit. She's absurdly poweful and nowhere near her peak

As someone with a E2S1 Acheron. I do flip to other teams and pull a decent amount of newer units for extra Team Variety, though I do use her alongside Boothill, and a myriad of FUA teams I like to use, and I do like her Character from the Story, and she's still pretty good to use, and less Brainless then Firefly (Who I don't have and don't want)

People keep saying Gallagher and Aventurine are so great for Acheron, cause they apply 1 debuff every time they ult (tbf S1 Aven does give +1 stack on follow up). Meanwhile Gepard is out there applying a debuff every time he takes a turn *and* every time the enemy takes a turn with Trend of the Universal Market 🤣 Jiaoqiu but sustain instead of support pretty much.

Acheron has one downside which only really comes up in PF but it tecnically is there: specifically cause she overkills everything by a large margin, she actually struggles to clear multiple waves in a row quickly. What made her overpowered in PF on release was the turbulence that was adding a debuff stack on every enemy turn, which was basically what Jiaoqiou will be doing. Which is why in most recent PFs you only see her in dotcheron: Kafka / BS clear the small fries and Acheron uses the big dick ultimate to demolish the elites that otherwise would take too long to clear for the dotters. Acheron in "standard Acheron team with pela/guinaifen" is much more suboptimal and struggles to hit 30k due to taking too long to rebuild ultimate after clearing a wave.

HTB is only so broken because without them Super-Break doesn't exist, they didn't want to lock an entire game mechanic behind a Limited 5 Star since no one would want to use characters like Firefly who depend on Super-Break I predict that Nihility Traiblazer will be a weaker version of Kafka so that she is no longer 100% mandatory for DoT Teams.

Kafka has 40% lightning res, it's basically a 40% dmg reduction. If e2+ acheron cant even reach 3.3k against current AS kafka its a skill/team/build issue. Heck I even brute force kafka with acheron/bronya/guinaifen/fu xuan, scoring 3.3k just for fun.

Her damage is completely backloaded, cc will slow her ults and her dmg was never that high in the first place, a lot of players judging her based on dmg per screenshot and high investment. Recently Prydwen caught a lot of flak for having her as a top tier character without S1 when in reality she's around the same level as Dhil at that point. Firefly is way better than her and it's not even close, her team has the power of a triple support 0 cycle team and that's with a sustain whille Acheron's just doesn't. She has been 0 cycling multiple MoCs with a sustain, which is something Acheron cannot consistently do especially if we take investment into account. Firefly surpassed her in MoC, AS and probably PF too due to her synergy with Himeko.
