Hey, I'm a newbie learning graphic designing using photoshop. I have been watching your videos lately and they have been helpful. I'm kinda stuck at the layer mask area. after adding the layer mask and ensuring I clicked on the mask and not the image itself, the eraser tool isn't smoothening the edges of the images. I thought I would ask this question under this video since I’m watching but I was trying to do photoshop on my iPad I started it on my MacBook then saved it to the creative cloud but when I go to open it on my iPad it tells me I don’t have enough storage. Do you know where I can free up space? Is that on the actual iPad or something with the creative cloud?

I am not 100% sure because I don't have any experience with using it on iPad. It is quite possible that there isn't enough space on the iPad. Try doing a quick Google search to find a solution. Or if you are able to, try working on the MacBook only, it will be faster and more efficient. Remember Photoshop is very different on mobile devices because it was designed to be fully utilized on a computer. Hope this helps!

my photo didn't erase the edges while the layer was masked . I had to rasterise the photo itself before I started seeing the effect of the eraser tool, so why didn't the eraser tool work while my photo was masked ?

Hey Alabi thanks for reaching out. Did you have the image selected or the mask? If the mask wasn't selected then it won't work as it should. Check 14:25, I go over it in the video. Let me know if it resolves the issue.

Thanks bro. Once you make your guides and save your Photoshop file, they will always be there unless you remove them. They won't show up in your .jpeg file though, so don't worry.

Hey Sasch, you should be able to drag-and-drop similar to how I did it. If that's not working, just go to the menu up top and choose File, then Place Embedded, then choose the file you want to bring into your template. Let me know if it works.

Great question! It's because the requirements of KZbin when it comes to channel banners. Banners are not just the thin strip of graphics on a web-browser.
