You explain the markings well (some of them), and I'm sure any sensible person can interpet the rest of the scales. But I learned in a grade 9 drafting class that a triangular scale is NOT a straightedge, and shouldn't be used as one. You mark off the ends of your triangular scale, then use a proper straightedge to draw the line. This protects the edge of the scale, and prevents you getting marker or pencil marks on the scale, keeping it cleaner for the next job.
